I just started becoming an active viewer of this show, but doesn't anyone else think that they are going too far? I think they are trying to touch too many bases.

It's a new season and...
-there seems to be a modern day Oedipus story going on
-there is a hook lady
-the principal's daughter moved to the school
-everyone is falling in love
-it is more about personal lives than the school
-scandals in every episode
-and many people seem to be acting out of character

There is more and they are still adding to the plot. Where are the resolutions? It seems like they are touching on a topic and then dropping it. I didn't watch the show too much last season, but I did see the final episodes. The show was great. Why did they change their technique? There is no real substance anymore.
Although, I like what they are doing with the vice principal. I'm so interested in his transformation that that is the main reason why I tune in every Monday.
