I'll have a crack at it.
I'm an excellent manager when I'm shouting at the t.v.
What could possibly go wrong!

At the moment, I am in a mini-league of 12 set up by our team (with jill-geo's help). It is really good fun. And we haven't started the league yet!

It's worth trying, at the very least and I guarantee once you start , you'll get into it and find it enjoyable.

Thanks to Copago, Engadine, PaulE and Kriv for showing an interest in this and to anyone else who has had a look and may come back later to join in.

When you enter the site www.xperteleven.com you need to join so click on join and after you have joined go to search and enter the league id number which is 93584. This will allow you to enter a team in this The Funtrivia League then whilst you are in there just have a look around the site and accustom yourself to it.

This is a fun league the same as the Hoi Polloi one that we have set up earlier and have now started our first season and we believe the players are really enjoying it even though a few dont really know anything about football!

We NEED a minimum of 6 teams to start playing the league so the more the merrier and if anyone who is already a member of the other league wishes to join they can.

So lets get joining and then we can start playing friendlies to get used to your players and the site etc. Who wants to be the Funtrivia league champion??

My team is the Copago Tigers LMAO

You could also put a post in the games and challenges forum here, G, might pick up a couple of people who wouldn't normally visit the sports stadium. The smelly socks seem to put people off ...

Your team has been entered halo ranger, we now have six teams so the league is now active for anyone with a team to have a look.

The season will start on Monday 26.02.07 so go into the site and familiarise yourselves with everything.

Great! Trust me to get Paul first up ... couldn't I have someone who didn't know what they were doing like me?

Well, I've put a team in, put out my first press release and pressed about every other button there was to press. Is there anything else I ahve to do?

Trust me, I'm a complete novice at this too.

As for other things to do, have a look at the rules, it gives loads of hints and tips, the forum is also useful.

I've had a bit of a play around with it and there looks to be a lot of things to mess about with.

George also seems to know what he's talking about and has answered a few of my questions.

Found it. You can all stop looking now
This is good fun but I'm finding it hard to get back to the FT league bit when I navigate away from it at all .. lie to the forum and so on. Am I missing a really obvious link there somewhere to the league?

It depends how far you have gone away from "the league bit"

If you get too far away from the league bit click on The Lobby down the left hand side of the screen and you should be able to get back into it from there.

When I did the sponsor activity it never asked me any questions but still gave me the 1,000,000 econs.

Have tried investing some of that,so far unsuccessfully, in a player.

First of all Paul how did you get a million bucks for doing nothing-whats the secret? lol

If you go away copago your team should always show at the bottom of the page in the dark blue bit so you could always click on that as a quick way back. The other things to do for your team are team tactics for the game, ie set your captain, penalty taker, and long balls or offside or play throughs. A lot of it will be trial and error till you get the hang of it but the rules are helpful.

Anything you want to know just ask and we will try and find out for you.

We need Ace sodium to log back in to activate his team cos he aint been back yet so if you see him around then give him or us a yell please

Jill & George

Huh so much for George allegedly knowing what he is doing, PaulE beat me last night in a friendly 1-0

Good game anyway Paul and i'll get you back when the league starts.

Paging Ace Sodium Paging Ace Sodium - Please go to your team and activate it by Sunday night otherwise we will have to allocate your team to someone who is on the waiting list.
