And to you too, Ren.

Y'know, the Chinese have the right idea. In Western culture, we have New Year's Eve, big night, and then Bang! It's next year.
The Chinese are smart enough to realise that, if you're having a good time, why not make it last a whole week!

"Kung Hei Fat Choy!"

That's easy for you to say!

Hope you enjoy the week

The Chinese people in Hawaii are the only ones who are allowed fireworks for New Years twice. I lived there for three years in the eighties and it never seemed to end!
They say that people would claim another heritage just for the privilege of letting off a big bunch of firecrackers.

I have never seen as many fireworks as I did while living there.

In China they are actually celebrating the Spring Festival. The New Year is just part of it.

Most of the suppliers for the company I work for are Chinese and getting stock has been hard. Our suppliers have been waiting for China to open up again, they have told me that everything work wise there slows right down this time of year. Also many of the people we deal with in Australia are holidaying in China.

The Spring Festival is very important and it is a time that families spend together.

What sort of stock does your company deal in?
