I just hate hate hate how much exposure Britney Spears gets for getting their hair all cut off. I barely watch TV or read newspapers but even I've been inundated with it all.

Someone has on eBay an auction for what could possibly be her hair

"I have for auction what is said to be a strand of britneys hair from her visit to the hair salon, This was sent to me by a friend who was at the right place at the right time ! She knows I am a fan and she sent it to me. She said when she walked by the salon after Britney left and it was laying on the sidewalk. It must have come out on someones shoe,or clothes! She snatched it up and sent it to me. Because it was picked up outside I cant be possitive that it is hers and will make no claims that it is. " eBay auction

The auction is at $3450!!! Craziness!

I wouldn't want any of her hair if she gave it to me herself. Supposedly after getting all of her hair cut off, she dropped by a tattoo shop to have one of her wrists and one of her hips inked. What are we having now? Britney Spears trying to reinvent herself as a punk-rocker? Some people will do anything to try to prop up a sagging career. She was never a credible musical artist to begin with. I think the general public is sick of her, including a lot of the kids that used to think that she was so cool. As far as the eBay auction, some people will bid on anything. The auction lister can't even confirm that it's her hair. It could be anyone's hair.

It is rather disgusting that something like that could auction for so much money--real thing or not! I can't believe that anyone would want something like her hair--it's no different than their own.

Believe it. I just checked on the auction again. The current bidder right now has it locked in at $4,050. Three other members haven't been able to outbid them. Good God....

I wonder if doing something so drastic is not just a cry for help. After all she has been through I think she is realy troubled but I am getting sick of hearing about every thing she does.

Next week we have a 'shave-a-thon' where people (pay a fee) to either shave their heads or spray their hair with colour (red,blue,green etc) in support of cancer. No one will make the front page of the international newspapers for their support!

I was under the impression that she got a tattoo on the back of her neck, and shaved her head so it would show...Of Course! That explains everything! HA!
