HBO does make some great series.

I'm a big "Sopranos" fan but I really can't take the long, long, LONG intervals between each new season. And the intervals seem to be getting longer each year. This year they are not going back on the air with new episodes until September. I don't really want to watch all the reruns and I lose track of the plotlines and character development with such horrendously long intervals.

I also love "Six Feet Under". Anyone else watch this one? I'm so glad they won the Emmy--that helps to insure that this one will continue for a while. The new season seems off to a great start.

for my money...hands down 'Sex and the City'.
one of the best shows on cable.
just awesome.
storylines, script, acting, the list goes on and on.
I find that all the women I know are like that.
gives us men some insight into the feminine mystique.
plus, the way NY becomes a character is great.

can't discuss the show on a family oriented site though.

I love ALL HBO shows. Oz is my favorite out of all of them. Sex and the City is a close second. I do not like Sarah Jessica Parker but the show is so good I can totally look past that. When is Curb Your Enthusiasm coming on again?

Why don't you like Sarah Jessica Parker?
just curious.
is it the person or the actor or the character?
are Kristin, Cynthia and Kim that much better?
or maybe NY overshadows all of them?

I think Sarah Jessica Parker is ugly as sin. A man played her on Saturday Night Live and it sadly looked just like her. Even my boyfriend thinks she is hideous.

I also can't stand the way she dressed.

I'm embarassed to say this:
i've never seen "Sopranos", i think i saw an episode the first season, but i had no idea what was going on.
i will watch "SITC" 'till it's off the air, then i'll watch the re-runs. have all the season DVD's,love it.
i don't watch "oz" or "arliss", but might start.
first time i watched "six feet under" i hated all the characters . gave it a second chance, now i like it. except the mother, i don't like her character.

I love "Six Feet Under" even the mother she is great. She is such a spazz it cracks me up. "Sex and the City" is alright I used to love now I am not so sure. With out Mr. Big it kind of sucks. And the new baby story line is going to ruin it. TV needs to stop adding on characters.
As for "Sopranos" it is great but I do feel like the last episode I watched was years ago.
