What's the one movie(or two) that you're most looking forward to see this year? My choice is "Signs" with Mel Gibson and the gorgeous Joaquin Phoenix and IT doesn't come out 'til August 2nd. So what's everyone else's choices? [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

[Smile] I'm kind of behind the flow of things. I'm still looking forward to seeing The Lord of the Rings. I think it will be excellent, even though I find the book hard to finish. (I'm hoping to see it downtown tomorrow at the Paramount theatre!!)

(Thursday: I didn't get a chance to go downtown. Now I'm aiming for this weekend! [Big Grin] )

There are two films on the top of my list:

1) The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
2) The Minority Report

Check out the preview for The Minority Report at the Apple Quicktime site. As for the next LOTR film, I have a copy of the trailer (don't ask) and it looks GREAT!

I just read the full script for Star Wars Episode II. It's pretty good!

Oh dear LadyC...doesn't that kind of ruin the impending film though, by reading the script beforehand? Or do you feel that it provides the insight you need to really enjoy it when you actually see it for the first time? I would probably stay away from reading the script if I could simply to provide a potential surprise or two.

Anyhow...there are a number of good potential films out there...all of those sequels mentioned above are sure to tantalize the insatiable hunger of the average western film-goer. I usually look forward to historical pieces, particularly biopics such as Gandhi, Amadeus, etc., but I'm not aware of any coming through the pipeline. Any news or information on historical epics/biopics in the works (and I'm not talking about Pearl Harbor type stuff, that's too much Hollywood fluff for me)? Wouldn't it be fascinating if they did a biopic on Mao, or Stalin, or even Hitler? I think it's only a matter of time...

I am looking forward to "Meet the Fockers" the sequel to
"Meet the Parents". I think it will be hysterical and wonder about who they will cast as the Fockers

"Meet the Fockers"? Oh yes, will surely be funny!
However, I can't hardly wait for

1/ The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
2/ Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
3/ James Bond: Die Another Day
4/ Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason

... and I heard that someone was about to make a movie out of Jeffery Deaver's novel "The Devil's Teardrop", but I'm not sure if this isn't just a rumor. If it's not, then this movie will be on top of my list.

I can't wait for Die Another Day! I'm a huge Bond fan and am always trying to find information on the movie.

Ooh,I can't wait to see "How To Deal" either. But I think it doesn't come out til Feb. Isn't it based on the Sarah Dessen novel "Someone Like You"? I loved that book and I'm glad Mandy Moore plays Haley. I also want to see "Sweet Home Alabama"And also LOTR:The Two Towers because I might get to go to the midnight showing with my crush,Nathan!!!Sorry, but I had to share.

I'm anxiously awaiting Spider-man 2. I loved the first one, now this one should be awsome, too!

I can't wait to see:

Red Dragon (Manhunter was good, can't wait to see what they do here)
White Oleander
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Party Monster (based on the story of promoter (Michael Alig)

There's another one, but I can't remember the name, I must not be looking forward to it as much as I thought

Newbie here! Who can't wait for Rules of Attraction to come out. It's got Ian Somerhalder (hence the screen name), James Van Der Beek, Kip Pardue and lots of wild, crazy, naughtiness. It's opens October 11th and I'm counting the days!

I am looking forward to seeing "One Hour Photo". I saw it advertised on TV the other night and I think it would be very suspenseful.

The Two Towers, I thought Fellowship Of The Ring was great although i only saw it on video and will definitely go to the cinema to see Towers, my five year old daughter wants to go as well, she watched Fellowship all the way through and loved it.

I'm looking forward to 'X-Men 2' and I heard 'Soul Calibur' might become a movie but I could be wrong. I went to www.imdb.com (Internet Movie Database) and they said their making a movie on 'Soul Calibur' but I could be removed completely.
