A very long time ago, the Court Hall at Winchelsea in Sussex was the administrative centre of one of the most important towns in England. Today, Winchelsea doesn't even rank as a parish, and the Court Hall is a museum which won't be opening for the year until next month; but I thought I'd photograph it anyway.

I've got a similar statue in my garden but probably well under half that size.
Here's the shopping parade at the bottom of the road where I used to live (out of shot on the right) as the local minibus was passing. Trying to get through the narrow roads is precarious when a car's coming the opposite way, the sort of contortions the traffic has to make when one of these arrives is almost impossible.

I bought a new camera a couple weeks back and was just testing out some of the features on it this morning. Quite liked this photo - it's just grass, nothing special, but it cme out better than I expected.

My flowers aren't doing much yet, but the rhubarb has started to grow!

I'm going to be walking around the rest of the day saying "rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb" ...

More flowers in my yard. These are the tallest snapdragons I've ever seen -- some of the plants are 5 ft. tall

My chair is beautiful, lovely squishy leather with that lovely new leather smell. The cat is wondering why I am sniffing the chair. I would have you know that I am a dab hand with an allen key.

Yesterday that was nothing but a forlorn pile of metal tubing and some bolts, Sue. I'm really impressed.

And what a good job you did putting it together Sue. It looks lovely.

That is a comfy chair Sue. It's almost the same as my own. I wonder if you'll doze off in it. Get a foot-rest to go with it and you might (I'm always dozing off in mine)

The grass photo came out really well Jill. The way the light comes through the grasses and the colour in the foreground makes it a nice picture. It may look professional by accident but it does have that look about it to me.

Nice nature pics today.

I've been feeling very lazy today, so I haven't ventured further than the hundred yards to the off-licence (liquor store). Here's a pic from a London trip: the statue of Mozart as a boy stands at the end of Ebury Street in Pimlico, a few yards from the house where his father brought him to show off his talents at the age of eight.

This Koala looked right at me, so of course I had to take his photo. The 12x zoom really came in handy.

In the carpark at Featherdale Wildlife Park, there is a man who takes care of orphaned roos. Here is the latest one, in his bag.

My Mum, (DollyDaydream is her FunTrivia name), is visiting this weekend. Katt thought that the trailing end of the blanket over her knees would be a good place to settle down for a nap.

Here is George, our bearded dragon with his girlfriend Thorn holding claws. Aren't they cute?

Jillian's Copago sign inspired me to take a photo of my house nameplate but now that will have to wait for another day as this dandilion growing out of the tarmac on my drive deserved to be immortalised before I zap it with weedkiller!
