This is our Fred who is the youngest of our three house cats at just 16months old. He seems to like to pick uncomfortable places to nap

He weighs in at just over 7kg and, according to the breeder, he still has three years of growing to go. You can see the other two at Our three boys

Lovely day. Spent a good part of it hearing all about the Wonders of Oz but then went out to start the weeding. I didn't do much, but have made a start.

Just by random exploring I discovered Dollis Hill is actually on a ridge where you can see the whole of London if you walk across the road to look from south to north. This is the view south, and just out of sight to the left is Crystal Palace TV antenna.
Glad I may have inspired some more trains Liz, and of course you can never have too many cat pictures!

Another view along the 'New River' near my home - actually constructed nearly 400 years ago to take drinking water to London - and still working today!

This could have been taken today because I actually did ride across this brook to see if it was deep enough to get a boot-full of water (luckily, it wasn't). However I have to admit that the photo is me doing the same thing last year on very similar sunny Spring day.

Woohoo, it works! This is the Crooked House at Adventure Island (AKA Peter Pan's Playground) in Southend. It must be one of the oldest amusement park attractions in the country. The sign above and to the left of the guy in the red shirt shows the level that the flood waters from the Thames reached in 1953.

Well I knew you could get Siamese Cats but I did not know you could get dogs as well

It was a lovely day today, and I took some photos in one of the local parks today, but I'll save them for a rainy day. When I got home, I caught Katt contemplating jumping on Winston's head, and thought it worth sharing.

This was taken in the fall when we first fired up the woodstove - my dog, Maggie and my daughter's cat, Stella decided this was where they would spend the winter!
