At most forums like this I am usually seeking or offering assistance and support. There's not much in my bio because of that. I thought I'd take advantage of this particular forum to maybe allow you into my own personal world a little.

I have a degree in music education so I know a little about music. I can even read it and play a few things . What I want to share with you at this time though is an original piece I wrote for a troubled friend back in 2003. I didn't title it but asked her to do so. She never did so to this day it is still only known as "X".

I asked her for a description of what she wanted to hear in the music. Her reply was she visioned herself in a secluded peaceful setting. Very quiet and siren. Then the faint beat of a heart. Light began to appear as she could see to the sky through the tall pines in a friendly forest. This was a place to escape and find peace. Calm and joy would soon enter the soul and all trouble and worries were gone.

Well, that's as best I can recollect what she wanted. I'm not a poet or a lyricist. My expertise in music is mostly melody, harmony and sounds. i want to write music, but i seem to lack time. I think if i ever write anything it will be for piano, based on a poem or story, without lyrics, and containing tenths.

I have a thing for tenths, even though i can hardly play them.
