Hi all, I was wondering if there any other owners of these wonderful dogs out there?
My "boy" turns 6 next week and I just can't sat enough things to describe how great it is to have him as my best mate! I am sure everyone who owns a dog feels that there breed is the best and that is fine. I love all animals, especially dogs.
I have been raised with Staffy's my entire life (my parents bred and showed them) and so when it was time for me to buy one of my own, I just have to get a Staffy.
"Taz" has saved my life twice in his life time, thank again mate!
I would love to share stories with anyone out there about there dogs.
Tell me about your experiences and stories.
Also if anyone has any questions I will do my best to help

I've never owned a Staffy, but have met a lot of wonderful staffys. I used to work in a boarding kennels and some of the nicest dogs that came in were staffys. I used to love the odd bark/howl/cry they made, you can always tell if it's a staffy barking .

I love dogs and can't wait to get another one. We unfortunately had our last one put to sleep about 3 months ago, as he had cancer. The breed I would like to get next is a cocker spaniel I love these little dogs, mainly because they have very little common sense!

Friends of mine have always had Staff's, and they've always been the most friendly of dogs. Trouble is they're so darned solid and heavy, so you know they're there when they decide to lie across your lap!
We belong to a mountaineering club, which owns a large cottage in north Wales, and dogs are permitted there. Their current Staff' is a bitch called Lily, and she invariably takes a fancy to my lap - which I don't really mind. They've got a great photo of me and Lily sprawled out on a sofa, asleep after a long hike. I'm half stretched out with Lily lying across me, both of us oblivious to everyone around!
Great dogs indeed.

My family owned a Staff from when I was 5 to 12 years old. 'Lady Penelope' was her kennel club name but affectionately known as Penny. I will not hear a bad word said against them as she was wonderful. She just loved to snooze by the fire all day long! She was however very protective of us, me in particular. I can remember her sitting on my lap when I was little and letting me stroke her ears. We have had several other breeds of dog since then but none as docile or friendly as Penny. Would love to own another one of these lovely dogs someday!

Thanks for your replies and stories all.
All that you have written tells me that you have had the pleasure of knowing one of these great dogs We are all very lucky in that regard I think!
Hope to here more stories soon. If anyone is interested I am thinking of creating a web-page with some photos of my boy (Taz) and if I can anyone who would like to show pics of there Staffys as well. What do you think of this idea? Comments appreciated.
