I think it's Engadine who has been chastised there, MG

Busted, Engadine! I guess if one person does it then everyone will expect the same and it will get a bit out of hand.

I now how tempting it is when you take a good few photos one day and want to share them all!

No worries there MG. I wouldn't mention anything where there's a possibility of that being the case.

He told me off about doing it a couple of months back. He was very polite though. Point taken though, if we start to let one person do it then it soon gets out of hand.

One way around it if you have photos which belong together is to post a link under your main photo to the other photo.

This is a bridge donated to the city of Wollongong by our sister city Kawasaki in our local botanic gardens.

Yesterday I planted three busy lizzies in a container and this morning I hung it outside my front door (must remember to water it). Clutching my camera I popped out to take a photo of it which I did, then my attention was taken by the mesembryanthemums, stunning colour. This is the best time of year for them, they soon get past their best. As you can see, a couple appear to have mixed together - at first I thought one plant was producing two colours. You can see my hanging basket another day.

Very nice Jane. I have just brought up the cardmaking thread in Tips and Tricks as I notice one of our newest members likes to dabble too.

Looks good JaneM. Is that découpage? (I know Mrs TW will ask when she comes home).

I too was chastised for posting multiple pics way back in March - ever so nicely, of course

okay, Liz, you're going to have to explain what an ice boom is!

It's a device to control the build up of ice in the river. See "Mechanical Control" here for a brief mention.

Here's the boom itself, again from my walk the other day. I'll have to remember to get out there again when there's some ice there!

I hope I'm not thought of as the great chastiser! I have a generally mild manner ...everyone says so. I'm just your humble Mod keeping an eye on the the photo threads in order to make sure they run OK and can remain part of FunTrivia.

Not at all, TW! We (at any rate I) need you to keep us reined in - otherwise this thread might run away

Busy doing housework today so here's one from the other day. A typical London view of a bus stop, this one being outside the nearby Colindale Station (which I've never used).

As promised here is a photo of Johnson Canyon's walkway in Banff National Park.

There are extreme sport kayaker's who have attempted to Kayak down this river. I don't know if anyone made it all the way. They would have to stop at the falls I'm sure.

Torfield Cottage on the edge of the Old Town in Hastings. The little black plaque claims that the infamous Titus Oates lived there, but this seems very doubtful.

Well yes, and no! Me and Mum cut out the chocolates (a little decoupage'y) and then stuck them down with sticky foam blobbers to make them stand out

Don't you just love the word antebellum? Love the house too.

Copago, I brought my camera with me today, saw a beaver, took out my camera and realized there was no card in it.

One of these days I'll get that picture for you

In the mean time though, the pictures that have been put up are beautiful as usually. Good job guys, and to think I wanted to travel before. Now I'm ready to quit work and see the world. Thats quite difficult with a $54 bank account

Haha, oh well. Maybe some day when I'm rich and famous.

Change of plan today (not my choice) so I walked home instead of taking the metro. No photo of the new model of underground train, but I have this mixed-styles building - "The George Enescu Museum". Built at the begining of the 20th century it combines the Rococo style with Art Nouveau decorations.

I just went through all the photos so far for May. What a wonderful collection. Now I'm going to go farther back. Great photos everyone.
