Hey, about how often do clues pop up? Some people say that they've found several of the same clue in a day, but I've found just one in a week and a half. What sort of things are people doing when they find clues?

Also, Are clues transferable from computer to computer? I'm on a new computer, and had around 4 clues on the other one, but I don't want to take them to my new one because I'm afraid they're specifically tailored to that computer or that they're outdated. (I haven't played for several months). Could I bring them to my new computer? Do the clues change?

Clues pop up randomly. Keep your eyes open. I still get them, and I already have the treasure.

Yeah, I just looked, and they're pretty useless, one of them anyway. There were only two, and one of them I've subconsciously committed to memory. (it was my first one.)

Yeah, the clues are worth saving. I'm stuck at the moment because I didn't think to save one absolutely vital clue from back when I wasn't seriously looking for the treasure.

Sooner or later it'll come up again, I guess.

Dang it! I got the clue about the scavenger hunt, and did the first, it sent me to the second, and I got 10/10 on that, but it didn't lead me anywhere after that! (I am being intentionally vague, the people who have already done it know what I mean) Is this supposed to happen? am I missing something on the page? Please help me!

I'm with you Ezmar...same experience. I saw something mentioned earlier in this post about proving your pirate history knowledge....I wonder if that means that you have to take more than just this quiz. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this??

The clues pop up the more areas of the site you use. Get familiar with all the different places on this site and the clues will flow. My biggest tip would be to record them either by writing them down or in a word doc and review them regularly, also don't overthink them! You will reeally enjoy this hunt I think and the feeling when you finally find the treasure is amazing!

Okay, good, so I'm not alone. Also, Why isn't my quiz count going up, even If I play more quizzes? I'm not a gold member, and My tracking has expired, but that shouldn't matter, since I've got 166, and tracking expires at 100. Why can't I get the quiz count to rise?

No, I haven't. I hope that there's no requirement for quizzes to get the treasure. I thought I saw somewhere that you need 200 quizzes, but I can't find it again, so I hope I imagined it.

It was not the intent to lock out non-GMs from the treasure hunt.

The requirement has been dropped to 99 quizzes so that all are eligible.

well I am only just starting out on the hunt! Like other posters I did the pirate history thing, and then the next thing it told me to do but after the second quiz there was nothing...vague enough? I guess it knows I have done that quiz and maybe I will just get more clues now i've done it.

I am getting some pretty interesting clues but they only lead so far. I have completed part of quest. Now I need to wait for new clues.

I only have been given one thing I was supposed to have to answer the certain questions. If I was given the other two but overlooked them,will I ever have a chance to get the treasure? I am lost without the other answers.

Turtle, I have it, and still get the clues. The clues do get repeated. I see you've been on FT for less that 2 months... patience. This is is a challenge that generally takes a while
