They don't pop-up as such. They appear on the main screen, not in a pop-up windown.

I think I've got about five clues so far... I hadn't seen one in weeks before I got one today. I do spend a lot of time on the site, but I think I'm not varying my visits enough -- I play the Global Challenge and the Monster Quiz constantly, and I play random quizzes every day, but I haven't really visited the boards much (as you can tell by my post count). I just wish there was a way to "collect" a clue by clicking in it and having it saved somewhere on your account. At present, I copy the text of every clue I get and paste it into a .txt file. Unfortunately, the file is at home on my desktop, and I'm on my work computer!

I have a large piece of paper right here next to the laptop so when I see a clue, I can write it down. Haven't seen a clue yet today.

I copy and paste the clues into a Forums PM and send them to myself- that way it is always available.

It has not helped me get any closer to the elusive treasure, though!

Don't feel bad lady1. I've only ever seen one clue. And at the time, I didn't have a clue that it was a clue! Guess the treasure hunt was just beginning. I've not seen one since.

I have about 30 clues, but I seem to be missing the integral five or six that would lead me to the treasure! I did find the treasure once, at the bottom of a Futurama quiz, but I was then told that someone had already nabbed it today. I don't think I'm as rabid as I used to be about it, but I still want the shininess...

Darn! Still nothing! I have even made an effort to play the quizzes every day too. 30 clues mmmm.....

For about a month, I have had enough clues to know how to go about finding the treasure and what I need to do when I find the treasure, but I'm lacking one vital clue that I need to be able to claim it. I'm not looking actively any more, just hoping that when that one clue pops up, I'll be alert enough to see it!

GUESS WHAT! I just got my first clue. Now I have no idea what to do with it. LOL

i got the dumbest clue it was just one of the rules about the treasure hunt and i havent seen another one in a week?

I've gotten 30 clues.. just wondering if anyone knows how many clues there are, or is that part of the treasure hunt for us to find out?

The highest number clue I've gotten is 38, so we know it goes up that far at least. I just printed out all the clues I've gotten since I started writing them down, and I have 21.

I've got 35 clues in all. Does that mean that I'm nearly there?

I was this close to the treasure yesterday, but someone beat me to it. Have to find it again.

I have 36 out of 40 clues (clues #0 to 39) missing only 4 (including 1 crucial clue). The rest are mostly to keep us excited about getting a clue.

My advise -- follow the cows

RPeeves, I know what you are talking about re the cows but I keep getting sent to places where I don't have a clue what the answers are. LOL! I am also missing one crucial clue.

Great now I think that I have everything I need once I find the treasure... just wish I knew where the cows are.

Lucky you lady1! I'm still waiting my second clue. I've decided I'll never ever get the badge, nor the second clue (or even the first again). I suppose I'm just going to have to write off the hunt. I even saved my pennies and nickels to buy a Gold membership. As for the cows, I think they are in Wisconsin where they make all that cheese and milk! (or maybe Guernsey)
