Hmm.. I feel dumb. Is there a specific type of pages to look for clues on? I usually only play the Global Challenge and the Daily/Hourly games. Do clues show up on those as well? Are the on all the quizzes, or just the new ones for that day? Do I have to surf the forums to get some of them?

I don't necessarily expect answers, because I know all of you started off with just as little information as I have, I'm just expressing frustration... I don't know what I'm looking for or where to look!

They usually appear near the top of the page in a box. It says something to the effect 'Clue No. 21' and then the information. Keep looking, I got one more clue today - have been waiting for a week for a clue. Don't give up and keep looking. Good luck.

I have 30 total clues and still haven't found it. I pasted all my clues into an Excel spreadsheet so that I didn't lose them.

I have everything I need once I get to the treasure but everytime I do it tells me someone has beaten me to it.

I've never seen them in popups, only on the main pages of the site. And after 2 months of patiently waiting for the clues, I finally found it!

I will say, there's really no point actively searching for something unless you are directed there or know what you are doing. I did that for a few days in the beginning and got nowhere. I finally got all my clues and knew exactly what to do with each of them (the important ones anyways).

Good luck to those who are still looking.

For those who are wondering: I had a total of 35 clues by the time I found the treasure.

I had 39 clues when I found the treasure, but only 11 of them were important.
Good luck to all hunters! It's not that hard really!

The hard part is beating all the other treasure-hunters to the punch! I keep getting there apparently just after someone else has. *sigh*
I will keep plugging away...

I am hunting the treasure also, but need to ask a question. Is everything I need on this sight? Would I ever have to leave it? If anyone can help, please do, I feel so stuck!

Everything will be on funtrivia. The treasure hunt will not link to anywhere outside this site. But, remember, this site is pretty big.

At last! The clue to send me on. I have been waiting for so long! When they said to have patience, they weren't kidding. Now to claim the treasure. I hope this part doesn't take as long, if it does it will be worth it. I had a lot of help reading the chat boards, learned a lot there. Good luck to you all, and happy hunting!

I found myself being directed to take a particular quiz, upon getting 10/10 I was told: "1 of 3 the FT treasure hunt editors will be impressed" and directed to another quiz that I had to also get 10/10 on to continue the treasure hunt. The thing is I only got 9/10 can I take that quiz again or would that be considered cheating.

If they pop on your screen does that mean if a have pop-ups blocked I wont receive any? Still have not had one.

No, they will still show up as they are in the body, even though usually at the top, of the page you are on. I have 34 clues, haven't gotten a new one in ages, and am waiting for the EXACT location I need to see to claim it. I was very frustrated for awhile, but now I figure I'll stumble into it when I least expect it.

Reading these posts prompted me to revise the list of clues that I have already. I found a ray of hope and started to get excited, but it seems to be a dead end. Oh well, now I play the waiting game again to get another juicy morsel.

It never told me "exactly" where the treasure is. Just a general idea. There are clues to help point you in the right direction, you just have to figure them out.
