They usually appear near the top of the page in a box. It says something to the effect 'Clue No. 21' and then the information. Keep looking, I got one more clue today - have been waiting for a week for a clue. Don't give up and keep looking. Good luck.

I have 30 total clues and still haven't found it. I pasted all my clues into an Excel spreadsheet so that I didn't lose them.

I have everything I need once I get to the treasure but everytime I do it tells me someone has beaten me to it.

Do anyone know how many people got the treasure?

I've never seen them in popups, only on the main pages of the site. And after 2 months of patiently waiting for the clues, I finally found it! I will say, there's really no point actively searching for something unless you are directed there or know what you are doing. I did that for a few days in the beginning and got nowhere. I finally got all my clues and knew exactly what to do with each of them (the important ones anyways). Good luck to those who are still looking. For those who are wondering: I had a total of 35 clues by the time I found the treasure.

I had 39 clues when I found the treasure, but only 11 of them were important. Good luck to all hunters! It's not that hard really!

If they pop on your screen does that mean if a have pop-ups blocked I wont receive any? Still have not had one.
No, they will still show up as they are in the body, even though usually at the top, of the page you are on. I have 34 clues, haven't gotten a new one in ages, and am waiting for the EXACT location I need to see to claim it. I was very frustrated for awhile, but now I figure I'll stumble into it when I least expect it.
It never told me "exactly" where the treasure is. Just a general idea. There are clues to help point you in the right direction, you just have to figure them out.
