Hehehehe - I wish I'd seen the villa, just to see the look on PJ's face! Anyway they are just having their first housemates meeting and it started off amicably, but seems to be degenerating. Jade was talking about friends in the house and Sandy stepped in and made the profound statement: 'Let's not forget why we're here' and made allusions to the fact that he didn't consider them to be friends of his, but that they were all friendly. Maybe Sandy's been planted in the house - he is really disrupting it all !!! PS: Oooh we've made it to the second page already and we're not even at the end of the first week! Well, if this week is going to shock them about one of them evicted, wait till they find out what happens next week.....PRISON FOOD !!
It will be interesting to see who will still talk to who after they get seperated and one lot gets all the good stuff whilst the others have to watch and get sod all !!
I bet if you mix PJ, Spencer and Sandy together, you would still get one hell of a boring fart !!
Still think Alex will last the distance but his whining is getting to be sooo boring and maybe an eviction will kick him into gear. Jade is becoming a much more interesting player than Alison....I reckon her holiday rep persona has taken over and gone into overdrive.....
P.S. Apart from the regular posters on this thread, does anyone else watch it or read about it in the papers ?

Probably...don't know...but I bet they enjoyed it !! LOL
Wouldn't be nice to see one year that none of the housemates have a birthday during their stay !! The selection is sooo rigged.
Each year in BB they have seemed to go for the widest spectrum of people, probably so the show will appeal to a wider range of audience.
I mean, if you looked at the video's of the contestant's this year...I reckon only one or two were decent, the other's were downright awful !!

Sunita is going to be on BBLB tonight at 7.30 on E4. I wonder if she's played it very cleverly and knows that the first person to ever walk out of the house will get loads of publicity. It won't do her any harm. I liked the bloke from Heat's comment last night when he said that staying in will harm her career as she keeps picking her nose all the time....and she does.
The last thing I read about the splitting the house in 2 was that they have got the house built in such a way that it can be split, but they haven't made a decision whether to or not yet.
If Alex ever gets nominated I will call up SO many times. He drives me mad.

As I said on a previous post, I don't watch Big Brother but I just wondered whether any of you would go on the programme if given the chance and if so why. Would it be for the experience or the chance of fame? Surely it wouldn't be for the company!!! Buffy ![[Wink]](images/icons/wink.gif)

Buffy1 - you know I've been thinking about that these past few days and the answer has to be - no way, Jose !! Music, writing and reading are the most important ways in which I relax - since these are all banned in the BB house, I wouldn't last five minutes. Maybe I would consider it for a week - like Sunita, but then that wouldn't be very fair for the others who didn't get a place in the house and wanted it, would it? (I know that's not what happened to Sunita - or was it..?) ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/laugh.gif)

morning all!
relief at last ... Sunita's gone - think the reason why we all disliked her was that she was so camera conscious - and wouldn't let herself (or any personal info) go.
Anyway my new revised list for eviction is:
1. Lynne 2. Alex 3. PJ 4. Kate 5. Sandy 6. Alison 7. Jade 8. Lee 9. Adele 10. Jonny 11. Spencer
Have you noticed that Lynne & Alex are inextricably linked by the arse. Alex (soft top) 's laxative problems are well documented and Lynne is just a pain in it !!
.. & did you see Sandy kick off about the sugar !! what a tosser !!
I wonder who'll be sunita's replacement ... let's hope it's someone with some personality - at least that way we'll have something to talk about!
As for "Plants" in the house - well i think we have enough "vegetables" already!!
Think the nominees tonight'll be Jade & either Spencer or PJ. Should be interesting to see who gets the elbow - things are a lot more "even" in the house now than they were at the start of the week ...

Yes, I thought that Sandy went a bit over the top about the sugar - and all that 'in the army' stuff is just getting a bit OTT !! I thought that it was sweet that they made Lee a cake and I think that Lee was really touched by it. Lynne is now top of my list and as I said earlier, I also voted for Spencer - although he makes me laugh. It was interesting to hear Sunita's view about this week's nominees and who she thinks will be the winner. It says something about the dynamics in the house for the housemates. She thought that Sandy/Lynne would be nominated and that Jade might win. [ May 31, 2002, 05:42 AM: Message edited by: allynellie ]

So Lynne walked the plank last night - I thought her responses to being told that she had been voted unanimously off were very honest - I would have done the same thing. Still her responses to being shown some footage of her confronting Spencer after her late night spot of booze were very telling - she seemed genuinely shocked. Perhaps oor Lynne has a (self confessed) wee drinking difficulty ...? [ June 01, 2002, 07:17 AM: Message edited by: allynellie ]

Flapjack - she was invisible until a bit later in the week when she'd had a drink and then she just let rip!!
My nominations far evictions are:
1. Alex 2. Alex 3. Alex 4. Alex 5. Alex 6. Alex 7. Alex etc etc
At the minute I have E4 on and he is talking about sunburnt cheeks and vapours hurting his eyes what a tosspot!! And here I am in the London suburbs wearing a vest and shorts and there he is a few miles away wearing a big roll neck sweat top. Oh he just bugs me.
Jade can follow him as she is playing up her "baby" role just much too much.
I may have a little flutter on Spencer winning. I don't know if I want him to, but I can see that if he is ever nominated he won't be voted off as too many women/girls/gay men fancy him.
I think that's how Craig won to be honest.
What about Adele's revelation that she has a girlfriend and has never slept with a man. Something for Lee to dream about all night. That should make him a bit uncomfortable.

'You're terrible' amberg - hehehehe !! Why do I get the feeling that you don't like a particular person in the house? Flapjack44, it's lovely to have you on board - yippee, more people to discuss BB with ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/laugh.gif) . Don't worry about having missed the first week, with all the information in this post and also with the news on the official BB website, you should be up to scratch in no time. There will also be a new housemate soon (if that hasn't happened already) so you'll sort of be able to empathise with her/him (though presuming it'll be a her to replace Sunita). quote: Jade ... is playing up her "baby" role just much too much
I couldn't agree with you more amberg. What a baby when the nominations were made - she was so insensitive the way she balled after Lynne's name was read out. Actually I think she is a practiced manipulator! She reminds me of Melanie in the first BB who did everything she could to talk to people individually and get them on her side.
The funny thing is that the housemates don't have a clue, do they (if Sunita and Lynne's assessment of her is anything to go by)? Very sleekit !!
Do you think Adele made that up about the girlfriend and her sexual status - to test Lee's resolve not to go far with her..? It would be a very clever ploy wouldn't it?
Anyway, I've been out all day today, so have missed BB - didn't they have a task to complete today? Will check this out on the BB website and watch the late night BB edition and then post again here.
When do you think they'll split the house - or do you think they will do that at all?
Chat with you all later ! ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/laugh.gif)

Watched last night's programme and my goodness you are all so right! Does Jade ever shut up?! And does she ever say anything that isn't totally inane... I saw the snippet where Adele told blokey that she had a partner who was a woman and thought to myself ' Hold on, hasn't everyone been saying that these two are quite tight? And if that is the case why did she not tell him it was no go earlier instead of letting him continue telling her how much he liked her... that's just mean!' And never did I think that I would sit in front of my television and shout repeatedly 'WENSLEYDALE!! WENSLEYDALE!!' ![[Roll Eyes]](images/icons/rolleyes.gif)

SOPHIE at 1.30pm on BBLB and that's all I'm saying !!!!! They all seem to be really laying into each other in a big way, don't they - 'two tribes' indeed! I don't think Alex is doing very much to make things better - seems to be positively courting disaster. With a face like his, I would have thought that he would go for playing safe. Sandy seems to be the voice in Alex's head taunting him to go for it - I wonder why Sandy doesn't take his own advice? Jade seems to be all over PJ and Spencer has now suddenly become the leader - things are changing hourly. Wonder how the event at 1.30 will change things.... I wish we could nominate this week! ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/laugh.gif)

A new girl in and you can already see the insecurities coming out. Alison, Jonny and Kate were very chatty and Spencer too. They are obviously secure, but Jade and Adele were very cautious looking and now I am noticing Lee flirting. Alex and Sandy are taking a major back seat. I hope she susses out Jade quickly. She seems quite bright. Allynellie you are right about Jade/Mel manipulator thing. Jade was crying in the bathroom this morning. Oh and the "It's my birthday" is driving me ![[Mad]](images/icons/mad.gif) . I thought what Davina said about Spencer was very true. He doesn't really get into the bitching in the house and when someone bugs him - like Alex - he just tells them to their face. I like him and Jonny. The birthday conspiracy theory gains pace as Sophie's birthday is on 9 June!! Flapjack - I was shouting Wensleydale too. Emental that well known Yorkshire cheese!!!!!

I've decided Sandy is fantastic. Today Jade has had a big falling out with Alex and is trying to get everyone on her side. Sandy has been just sitting back and watching it all kick off. When Alex, Lee and Sandy were in the garden he said something along the lines of "I could see this was gonna happen. Jade has been feathering her nest and going round and speaking to too amny different people - she was bound to put a foot wrong". Then he said to Jade "You can't expect to talk to people in confidence when you are the one going round telling everyone what the other person said".
I reckon this will all have a big effect on nominations. I think Alex and Sandy will be up. My fingers are getting itchy just waiting to dial Alex's number!!!
I wrote this earlier and I don't even agree with myself!! I've seen BB today and Sandy is a complete knob. I do agree with myself that they'll be up for eviction though....what a pair of total idiots. And what has happened to Lee? Why has he got it in for Kate? amberg I know what you mean about Sandy - I have conflicting feelings about him: one moment I think, well at least he's not concealing his feelings about everyone. Then the next moment, I think that he's being really callous. i feel that he has manipulated Alex a lot. Remember the meeting that Alex called a few days ago? If memory serves me right, he had a heart-to-heart chat with Sandy before it to ask whether he should do it or not and Sandy egged him on. Sandy has been like a constant voice in Alex's head egging him on to say things. I wonder what his strategy is..? What would he hope to achieve by being abnoxious to everyone? Do you think he's just separating each one from the pack and testing their metal? Alex is easily swayed, he has outted Jade's gossip and he has managed to manipulate Alex into targetting Jonny. Alex is really digging himself a big hole by not accepting Jonny's olive branches - and he has been offered a few by Jonny. If Alex and Sandy were nominated, I THINK I would vote Sandy out. But perhaps keeping him in would make it much more interesting ..... hmmmmm. Do you think that the other housemates would be too frightened to nominate Sandy - he has been quite aggressive since Sunita left...? Jade is really struggling with Sophie being there, isn't she? Sophie made an off-hand comment tonight to all those still awake that if it got to near 10am and she still hadn't got into the shower and the hot water was just about to go off, that she would go into the shower with whomever was in - regardless, as she does not want to be smelly. She said she would wear her bikini bottoms, but wanted them to be sure that they understood this. Jade quickly interjected to say that she would do that too. I don't envy the housemates, I would be permanently ensconsed in the bedroom with an atmosphere like that! ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/laugh.gif)

You are right about Sandy's attitude and behaviour changing since Sunita left, and this was probably compounded by Evil Lynn going too. I heard him say that he thought he wasn't old in his attitude, but I think he's wrong. He comes across as a stuck up old fart at times. Lance, my boyfriend, is the same age and has an army background and he would have the attitude of Spencer. Sandy has missed a major opportunity to be the "alpha male", but maybe it is to do with his attitude to children???? He obviously doesn't want to look after anyone but himself. Maybe he's happy to go up for eviction, but feels the public will love him so much they'll keep him in.
I need to vote for Alex as his voice is driving me mad.
Sophie seems OK so far, and has done well by talking to people individually. Last night when she was talking about having siblings that died whilst very young Jade kept shouting her down with the same line about being the only one of triplets to have survived. OK, that's fine, but apart from that she never added anything to the conversation. At the moment I think Kate and Sophie see themselves as equals.
Can anyone tell me what Kate has done to Sandy or Lee to make them hate her so? Lee said that she was going round all the boys to get brownie points which I've not seen evidence of. She only has eyes for Spencer. Then Sandy said "Kate is the lioness who has had everyone's cubs". Miaow!!
Kate is turning into a regular entertainer with her brilliant impressions of Davina and the Geordie Big Brother announcer. If you didn't see the Fame Twins earlier - watch out for it. It was hilarious!! [ June 03, 2002, 11:35 AM: Message edited by: amberg ]

And what about the "my computer is processing it" what a total tart he is.
Frank Skinner said the other night that his faith was restored in God because he'd put a really good looking bloke on the planet who was totally devoid of a personality. How true, except I think Alex is ugly and wimpy.
Adele is turning into a bit of a back stabber isn't she? What's Kate done to her? Everyone seems to have it in for Kate and from what I've seen live (not edited by Channel 4) she's pretty harmless apart from marking her territory over Spencer. Notice how she cried alone unlike Jade making sure everyone knew.
Jade is a true Gemini (2 faced). And if that offends any Geminis I'm sorry, but I'm one too.

Hey there Flapjack44, amberg, oleg_mcnoleg and anyone else reading this this is my third day of going out rather than watch BB, which is my feeble effort to break away from my addiction - I don't think it's going to work though, because I left the video recorder going on E4 all night, so I wouldn't miss anything - ![[Eek!]](images/icons/shocked.gif) . So Sophie has been initiated by the coven (Adele and Jade and Kate gossiping about her)...Sophie has been getting on well with Spencer and Lee which would explain why she has generated this level of hatred in the other girls. quote: Can anyone tell me what Kate has done to Sandy or Lee to make them hate her so?
I have been pondering this too. I wonder if Lee's hatred of Kate stems from Adele's?
Adele and Jade started to gossip about Kate from very early on and I think feel threatened by her all round capabilities - she's intelligent, fit, pretty, blonde. She's the top dog amongst the three females - shown by them (Jade and Adele) telling her that they think she's prettier than Sophie.
Sandy I think sees that she is top-dog contender and since he is slagging everybody at the moment, I wonder if she's just another one to talk about... I can't think that he'd be jealous of her liking of Spencer....I think he just wants to compartmentalise her in the most disparaging way - and likes to play up to the audience, ie: Alex and Lee.
I really like Kate. I think she acted the most appropriately just after Lynne had been nominated for eviction. She gave Lynne support as she packed and wasn't pretentious about it. She tried to be practical to help Lynne get through it.
I haven't seen her gossip about anyone secretly, except for the bit about Sophie today. Sure she has joined in the 'we hate Sandy and Alex' bit, but she has been, I feel, quite open about her feelings, though not in confronting way.
Spencer is the only one I see her vying with for attention. She gets on well with Alison and Jonny, but they seem to be equals.
I saw the bit about the Fame Twins and it made me really giggle !
Did anyone see Spencer's trick with the hairbrush last night - I thought that it was really clever and sussed it out, so tried it out on my friends tonight. It really confounded them !!!
Did anyone see the trick where one person turns away and another person touches one of several cigarette packets arranged on a table. The first person then has to guess which one they have touched. I didn't work this one out. If any of you reading this reply did, can you PM me and let me know how it is done - it's driving me batty .
Speak to you all tomorrow, byeeee ![[Big Grin]](images/icons/laugh.gif) [ June 03, 2002, 04:55 PM: Message edited by: allynellie ]
