I was doing a Neighbours quiz on FT Quizzyland (yes, I do still pop in there from time to time [Big Grin] ), and was suprised by how old it was. But it was a new game!! Half of the questions I couldn't even answer they were so long ago!

So please, to clear this up for me, could people please tell me:
a) Where are you from?
b) Do they have Neighbours in your area?
c) Do you watch it? and
d) What is the current storyline?

This is for no other reason than to ease my curiosity. I'd just like to have a better idea of where everyone is at, because I didn't think the episodes where that old & I just need to make sure I'm not losing my mind... [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!]

I heard a story about an Aussie backpacker who hitchhiked through most of the UK and got rides almost immediately. The trick? He had a sign that said "I know what happens on Neighbours" and apparently it worked every time!

Anyway, that's beside the point, but I thought I'd just throw that in for good measure!

I used to watch Neighbours when I was in high school, about 9 years ago. At that time it was on Dutch television. Nowadays if I'd want to see it, I'd have to watch the Belgian television, where it's on daily.

Since I don't watch it, I cannot give you an update on the Belgian story line, but I found a website that does. It's in English and it's here. You can find story lines from other countries there as well! Have fun!

Nice find Lo ... that was a surprise ... I thought Britain would be much further behind than that, seems to be only about a month. I'm about a fortnight behind you, Tanzen ... it's a funny station that we get it on, a hybrid of nine and ten so it gets disrupted by nine sporting events at times ... cricket and so on.

Yeah, my sister lives in a small town just near the VIC/SA border and she's about a week behind for the same reason...

I'm glad that there are other people who admit to watching Neighbours!! I'm not a great one for watching soaps but do watch Neighbours (it's on while I eat my lunch) and also Eastenders each very different from the other!

I think here in the UK we have caught up with episodes as they have longer holiday breaks in Australia.

I am wondering if I could hitch around Australia with a sign saying "I know what happens in Eastenders!" [Eek!]

Sorry Buffy, but it hasn't been on TV here for years .... although it may be on pay TV now, I'm not sure. I used to love Eastenders but have forgotten much of who is who. What was that other UK soap ... I want to say Brookfield or something like that, ring a bell? What was it called? Is it still going?

Copago, You mean Brookside I think, yes it is still on but not a soap that I've ever liked.
