lol, That's funny Sue! Glad you got it to work. I have played that thing enough times in the last few weeks to where I can now name them all in less than 2 minutes and I can identify them by name on the map! Sad that I became that obsessed with it, but I didn't like not doing so well on it!

I got 38/49. I agree with Sue that the United Kingdom is a collection of countries. This is what confused me and I lost time because I tried to type in England several times but it wouldn't work.

Great quiz, I got in the 40s but forgot about Georgia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro and Moldova. I'm impressed that Americans such as Dave from Texas got so many! As for Sinai, when it was with Israel it would have been part of Asia but now Egypt has it (since early 80s)I suppose it would technically be in the continent of Africa now. (Israel is in the interesting position of ethnically and geographically being part of Asia but with strong links to Europe and the U.S.) I have to agree with Supersal regarding the status of Wales, Scotland and England. Scotland has pretty much its own government these days and Wales has its own language and culture and is certainly regarded by the Welsh as a country in itself. Wales is only 'ruled' from Westminster on the relatively few matters that local government doesn't address. What of the Isle of Man? They've been independent for yonks.

I got 29. I'll have to try again sometime. I got a few smaller ones but should have done better.

Well I managed to figure out 28 out of 49. I can't believe I forgot Denmark and Bulgaria (one of my college roommates was from there). I couldn't spell Luxembourg correct and I thought Belarus was a capital city. Well drat.

44.
I spent too long trying to spell liechenstein and azerbaijan, and trying to get the Faeroe Islands into it.
What mostly helped me with the smaller countries was thinking of who plays in the qualifying groups for the (football) european championships.

I got 37/49. Spelling is not my forte. Missed some obvious ones though like the Netherlands. Enjoyed it all the same though!

I only got 14. I'm not very good at this. The UK thing got me. I kept trying England Scotland, Great Britain and then when I typed in Ireland I realised it was United Kingdom.
I'm going to try this again
