I did, it was gorgeous. The cakes and bread are made on the premises, delicious.

This shot shows so many aspects central to all my life, except the buses used to be proper old ones, this is an 83 bus from Golders Green to Ealing as it crosses the North Circular Road from Golders Green Road to Brent Street in Hendon. On the left behind it is the road where family friends have lived since 1971 and then beyond the view all the sights of Golders Green with Temple Fortune to the left.

Boy the photos have been great. That butterfly is just beautiful and my mouth was watering after seeing that cake Sue. The gardens in my yard are finally coming into their own. As promised here is a photo of some of my day lilies.



I have some white mixed with the red and at the other end are some yellow ones but they are a little later than the rest. A close up of a white one can be seen by clicking on the link below:

Yum! What time's dinner?

This is the main road to town as you turn out of our village street. The tree(Lagerstroemia or Queen Crepe Myrtle,) is out everywhere at the beginning of summer and is very lovely.

Ren, it's lovely to see crepe myrtles somewhere else than in my neck of the woods. Right now I have several blooming in my yard. They can start blooming as early as May, or as late as July. I suppose it has to do with the amount of rain we get. This year it's lots! We've had more rain in the last month than we've had in a year and a half.

And thanks Admins for deciding to make this a Forum all by itself.

A rather nice white orchid, reflected behind in our conservatory window.

This started out to be a photo of my (somewhat tatty, yet very comfy) shoes, to carry on the 'shoe theme' of some of this month's photos. Katt just had to get into the act, though!

It's the end of June so this thread is now locked. A new thread has been started for July's photos.
