General chat Card making Scrapbooking Knitting and crochet Needlework Quilting Beading and jewellery making Photo Gallery to show us your work Some of our members are keen on various crafts so we thought we would have a craft circle. It would be a little along the lines of the Recipe Exchange with a thread for each type of craft. Some threads have been suggested and we would like your views. Is this something you would like and if so what crafts would you like to discuss and share your expertise or pick brains? I have tried crafts in the past but have given up because of frustration. I have poor hand/eye coordination at times. I did have a period where I attached tiny silk flowers to picture frames for newborns, weddings, anniversaries, etc. A friend had a gift shop and they sold rather quickly and were popular. This is admittedly not the most masculine of endeavors but it helped get rid of the several tons of silk flowers my ex-wife bought. If I dig deep enough I could find Jimmy Hoffa. Strange, she had a shoe/purse and silk flower fetish, but that's another story. Does anyone have a craft that doesn't require fine motor skills or silk flowers? You can make really beautiful things that don't look at all hand-made.
