More promises, more failure to deliver are what to expect from G8. As to Bush and Putin - two equally unpleasant, and in my view, thoroughly sinister little men with delusions of grandeur and belief in their own indispensaility.

I would point each of them towards each other somewhere out in the Arctic, give each a small nuclear device, force them to fire and hope that mutually assured destruction ensues.

Thoroughly agree with you uiscebeatha, in my opinion Bush and Putin are arrogant megalomaniacs with no perception of the possible catastrophic consequences of their actions and attitudes.
