I would take Perry Como and Doris Day over Tim Curry any time!

I wouldn't mind sharing a batch of red prawn curry with Doris and Perry right now, come to think of it.
Tim will have to go out and shoot his own.

Over 50? I seem to remember being a youth of that age some time ago now. Those days just prior to the onset of nasal, eyebrow and ear plucking. They say that a fine wine matures and becomes better with age; unless, like me, you just happen to be corked. I find that the finest way to relaxation bordering upon total exhaustion is to attempt the hourly quizzes. It ensures a modicum of sobriety and a great deal of enjoyment.
Life is just a bowl of cherries, and that makes for an awful lot of stones.

Shall I say that I am closer to 50 than 40......yep, just said it.
Love that it is proper spelling so everyone can understand. This keeps me honest and in touch with a dictionary when in doubt.
Love this site, trivia is so expansive.
Opps, question long has this site been around?

Hi insure, welcome. Speaking as one of the olde....erm ..longest standing (and sometimes I have to be sitting) members , I can say, I think that it is nearly 10 years old. I have been around here since at least 1998. Oh dear, I really need to get a life. It sort of gets a grip on you. I hope you will stay and enjoy our little group.
Wandering aimlessly through FT since 1999.

Hey GrandmaHippie, I'm 56. I've been with Fun Trivia for about a year and a half, but this is my first venture into the discussion forums. And I definitely remember Perry Como. I loved the New Christy Minstrels as much as the Beatles. Now I'm a mega-major Moody Blues fan.
