Due to unforeseen circumstances, 'aramis' will be making no further posts in the FT forums. It's been nice getting to know you all, and contributing to some of your interesting discussions, but the time has now come when I must say 'farewell'!


The good news - at least I hope it's good news - is that my place will be taken by picqero, whom no doubt some of you know from quizzyland!

Seriously, we are of course the same person - as indeed a number of you have known for some time. When I originally registered with FT, I'd wanted the username 'aramis', but found it was already taken, hence chose 'picqero'.
Later, when I registered for the forums, for some reason 'picqero' wasn't accepted so I tried 'aramis' which was - and that's the story.
I've sometimes found it amusing to have the 'double identity', but have always revealed it to anyone who asked, and to some who didn't.

So now you all know

I hate to say I only noticed piqero this week but always knew it was realy aramis from the avitar. Farewell aramis you will be missed. Welcome piqero!

Aaaw, I shall miss Aramis. Portos will never compare... I have also noticed how I have suddenly become "Flynn_17" now instead of just plain old Flynn. Arghle.

LoL! When I saw the name change in the forums, I was like "when did this happen?" Now I know!

Still good that you are with us!

Had me worried, until I realised why it was done.
