I haven't read "The Testament" yet, but my favorite will be "The Pelican Brief". So intense, but yet captivating.

Just bought The Brethren today, not proper paperback as that won't be out until next year so I have bought the 'up-market' paperback edition - early to bed tonight

I'll do that Sandalwood - getting into it was a bit slow, kept nodding off and then my mind creates its own dialogue ... very strange as then I have to go back and re-read to know where his plot ends and my own begins.

Now well into the plot as I have reached page 112. Quite good so far.

Just finished reading The Brethern friday. I had heard some really bad reviews about the book and didn't really know what to expect.
Granted i don't think it is one of his better works but it was still an enjoyable story line. It was kind of humorous in it's own way. Certainly a lot better than The Testament which i thought was terrible. anyway I'm glad i didn't listen to the reviews and went ahead and got the book from the library it was fun reading. Well that's my two cents worth anyway hpe you all enjoy it.

All finished, and not dropped in the bath. Yes, a good book but not his best. Well worth reading though - I will probably read it again starting later tonight, then I can fill all the bits that I missed and will wonder what happened the bits that I made up.
