I have just finished 'Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden. It's a lovely book, and really seems as though it's authentic. He must have done an awful lot of research. It's just what it says- the life story of a geisha in Japan between the wars and what it entailed. Its funny, and sad and informative.I really enjoyed it. love ren

Thankyou Ren I've been undecided about borrowing this book from my local Library, you've just helped me decide to borrow it tomorrow.

I've got this one put aside, but wasn't sure about when I was going to get around to reading it (or even if - it wasx given to me), but I think I'll give it a go now!
