Great shots all, Liz your cat looks like he's put out with that expression. Hot as blazes here again, well into the high 30's (90's F).

THis is my satellite dish for the Internet and the old chimney threatening to fall on it. The last time workmen had to come and fix something on the dish it was full of spiders.

This is a very traditional British cottage on a private road in West Wimbledon.



Anyone who's only seen old films there are still plenty of places like this, especially in the south and west of England, although they are pretty rare unless you stick in Surrey.

Katt has been preening himself all day after I told him about all the comments and compliments! Now he's curled up sound asleep.

My other day lilies have come out, though I'm wondering about the name - this one was still open well after dark tonight (though the pic was taken in daytime)!

Forty-odd years ago in college vacations, I spent some time working as a dogsbody in the bowels of this building. It used to be the Queen's Hotel: it's now a block of very expensive flats.

Another hot one today. I can't stand the really hot weather, so I hide inside with the air conditioning on.

While in Huatulco Mexico we took in a tour and this is the bus they drove us around in.

I don't know where Huatulco, Mexico is, but that bus sure looks like the one we rode in while in Belize.

In June I posted a pic of a typewriter in a museum, that reminded me of the one I learned to type on, many years ago. Today I give you my very own Underwood (slightly wider of carriage, but near enough), found last week in a local antique store, for a mere $29 (Canadian)!
