I have been reading "The Resurrection of the Shroud" by Mark Antonacci.

He examines new scientific, medical and archeological evidence seeming to confirm once again the proofs of the authenticity of the burial shroud of Jesus Christ.

He has a scientific background enabling him to marshall evidence that, quite frankly, will go over the heads of most lay readers. Nevertheless, he seems to lay an irrefutable groundwork in support of one of the oldest mysteries of Christianity.

I am examining the beta version, 2000 (uncorrected proof). Fascinating read.
