Why did Mrs. Scott have such a poor opinion of Indians?

Good morning Margit. I was talking with my daughter and she said that she doesn't remember a Mrs. Scott in the book. She said she would dig out the book so that I can go through it later and look for the answer. Maybe someone will post the answer before I get it. Good luck.
