I just started this one today. I'm going to give King another chance.

Anybody else?

BTW...Stephen King is the subject of a show on TLC (The Learning Channel) on Sunday night. Check your listings for times.

Hi, Shuttlebunny, I almost gave in and picked it up last night at the book store. I feel lucky that you did. Please let me know if it is worth reading. If so, I will go get it.

I'll keep you posted Sandalwood! So far I'm only 112 pages into it (522 pages total).
It hasn't really "grabbed" me yet but still shows promise!

Hey Shuttlebunny, have you had a chance with all the holiday work to get any farther in the book yet?

Finished it this morning Sandalwood!

Was it good? It's not a horror book like the King I yearn for.

It's more like a travelogue through a few people's lives that grew up together, and their journey through life during the begining of the Vietnam era.

As a library book I'd have to say I enjoyed it. If I had paid the going price of a hardcover at the bookstore? Not nearly as much. I give it 6 Bunny Tails! * * * * * *

Thanks Shuttlebunny. I wonder why he is changing his style? Maybe he is changing as a person, who knows. I will wait until the library has it.

Happy New Years!!!!!
