Hello Everyone,

Here's another lurker emerging from the shadows.

Though I've been intending to sign up on the forums for a while, the Photo-a-Day thread has pushed me to act on the intention. It is fascinating to see what gets posted, and because of that thread, I've been trying to find one moment every day that seems worthy of a photo (or an attempt at one.) Also, you folks made me realize my inexpensive camera has macro -- thanks!

I just hope I don't get as hooked on posting to the forums as I am hooked on reading them!

Kap ( I blush easily)

Well done Kap for coming out of the shadows. We don't bite, as you can see. We look forward to seeing your photos. Welcome!

Welcome to our forums.

Hi kap, and a very warm welcome from a very wet and soggy England.

Hello kap and welcome. England's not really wet and soggy, it's just the sheep in romeo's back garden.

I know it's been said before, but it's so interesting and fun here on FT, and to 'meet' people, whether you are from the next county or the other side of the state or from faraway continents.

Trojan11, when I was in England, it was wet, soggy, and COLD! Guess I have to go back sometime, perhaps when the sheep aren't out.

It's not like that here all of the time, only for 364 days of the year
