Reading through some of these posts, I´ve noticed that many of you like Anne Rice.... add me to the list, she´s my current favorite!

There´s already 15 books in my collection, but only one I haven´t read..Violin.
For some reason, from reading the first chapter, it just didn´t hold my attention like the others have (and her writing style seems to be different as well).
Just wondering if anyone here has read it, and what they thought about it?

Also, been meaning to get Pandora but haven´t found any reviews of it to base opinions on.

I've read Violin .. and tried to re-read it recently. It got better on the re-read (started to make a little more sense) but it'll never be my favourite book.

Pandora is pretty good ... goes into a lot more detail of her relationship with Marius and life in the Roman Empire.

Now I just have to survive without a new book until Merrick (which may be a Vampire/Witch crossover!!) in October-ish!!

Blessings

I am reading "Memnoch The Devil" right now. I saw it on the discount table and bought it. I have always enjoyed what books I have read of hers. Some how this one slipped by me. It is an older one.

I am not a huge Anne Rice fan, but I have read some of her books. For me, my absolute favorite that she wrote was "The Mummy". Did anyone else like that one? When I read it, (about a year and a half ago) it was "new" in paperback. Did she ever write a sequel to it?
