Did anyone watch the first episode the other night? What did you think of the new twists?

I did.. i think it's weird but it adds a good twist! I have Showtime so me and my boyfriend watch some of the 'big brother after dark' thing from 12-3. I already know whos been put up on the block and how has POV.. you'd think that would ruin the show for me.. but it doesn't because i dont know how they got it and what not lol. I <3 big brother!

I felt so bad for the Anna Nicole look-a-like, crying in the bedroom!

I don't like the twist. I felt bad for that girl too. If her father is her worst enemy there's something wrong with that. The guy acts like he hates her and that's not right. There had to be some kind of abuse in the relationship (not necessarily physical) that could mess up the girl. I don't know, I just think that was pretty low of Big Brother to do.

And I don't like how everyone is under 30!

You noticed that, too? Except for that awful father, everyone is young and good-looking! No variety, no diversity. I like the 'America's Player' twist, though.

Yay. I watched last night (missed the first show). Only two observaions so far: 1.) In addition to 'Keith Richards' there's that so-nicknamed "Mrs. Robinson" - so at least a couple of them are 40-ish. The latter looks like she might be a pretty good player, too (despite that in-your-face sexism of feeling the absolute urgency to align with three strong young men). If I remember seasons past correctly, being a ripped young hunk matters less than being a crafty and/or attentive back-stabber . The other thing? 2.) Does "Big Brother" deliberately locate the most annoying gay candidates that audition? Good Lord, that "he-gave-me-gonorrhea" pair are enough to make me channel surf, in a hurry! Actually, I suppose their lifestyle is very secondary to the fact that they're just TOO dramatic for me, at least, to try and suffer through.
Interesting group of folks, however! Hard to tell who's really who just yet, though, I thought....

After last night's show, I am not so sure what to think about Danielle and her father. He gets tears in his eyes when he talks about how much he loves her, would do anything for her, etc., and all she does is glare. My sympathies just might start tilting in the other direction....

Me too, bionic. She said she doesn't even remember why she hasn't talked to him. That's kind of strange. He seems to love her and she seems to want nothing to do with him.

The only person that really annoys me is the blond that was one of the three enemies the first episode. Her voice, what she says, everything just bothers me!

Ooh, she IS annoying! Did you see the look on her face when her former friend got put up for eviction? I swear she was licking her chops!

Yes, she's very annoying, but the one that got me was Jen--" I can't believe they used this picture( sob, sob, sob)" Somebody needs to get her to a good therapist. I'm not sure who to believe between the drama queens, Joe and Dustin, but their whole fuss is gonna get them canned unless they cool it. :-)

I love the Big Brother series and this season is no acception. My favorite right now is Daniele because she seems like a sweet girl that has been through a lot of heartbreak. She should try to let her father back in, but it takes time for a broken heart to be mended again.

That was so terrible when Jen cried! I was laughing so hard though. It made her look so ridiculous. And the pic was just fine.

I am really surprised Jen wasn't put up for eviction - she is nuttier than a fruitcake!

Well, I watched again (long enough, I think, to know better who everyone is). Let's start with that Jen. Oh, she is absolutely three comforters short of a Bed & Breakfast indeed . Not to mention a liar at that (and her lying was not strategic, either...). The ex-football player? Irksome times ten. More ego than pectorals, for sure. Those two can go very soon, in my estimation. I can't help it! I like the tattooed biker-like Dad! I suppose it's not "nice" to say, but I suspect his daughter MIGHT have turned out slightly more likable had he been more a factor in her life. His little "name-dropping" lapses are pretty annoying, but he seems like a "take-me-or-leave-me" sort, and I like such types. This is not to say he stands a chance at winning the game, mind you. His daughter (and I thought this before the guy started fashioning that eating disorder tale, too) looks dangerously unhealthy to me. Very pretty, but painfully thin. That, coupled with her complicated personality/perspective, makes me somehow nervous watching her. I don't mind watching crafty sneaks behaving like runaway adolescents but I DO have a big problem watching what seems to be a partially troubled young woman in the middle of a circus that will serve only to make her worse at the end of it. The gay couple are toning it down, though, thank heavens. But that one (Joe, I believe?) is a snark with a capital 'S'! The only good thing to say about him? At least he's a BOLD troublemaker. He seems almost proud of himself for being one!
The plot thickens ...

edited to fix a name used...

I missed the evictions so I'm assuming Dick wasn't evicted and is now HoH.

I think he's gonna vote for Jen andddd not sure who the other will be. She's the only one he seems to have a problem with, so I think the other one will kind of be a toss up.

Dick is awesome

Maybe Kail now that I've read the BB8 stuff online. I'm not sure.

I think he should vote for Jen because she's too unpredictable, and her attachment to herself is annoying and probably distracting for the other contestants.

It's hard to tell who the other person should be just because there hasn't been a whole lot going on yet.

This BB is almost as boring as the all-star one last season. WHERE'S THE DRAMA?!

Do you think the four member alliance will be tough to beat?

I don't think so. They don't seem to be having much of an effect on the house at all....They don't even seem to be agreeing with eachother. I figure it's only a matter of time before they break apart.

I think he'll nominate Kail or Jen or both. Neither are on his good side.

And hey I loved All-Stars! lol

The four member alliance will fall easily. Nick already confessed it to Danielle and none of the three guys voted the same as Kail. (right?) Kail was the only one for Joe to stay?

I have little faith in that alliance, either. I think it was formed for all the wrong reasons, though - and started before anyone really knew enough about their housemates to rally. If I were Dick this week? Strategically, I'd probably not nominate Jen. Save her for later (since it seems clear that they all will vote for her, whenever she's nominated). My hunch is that he'd be better off putting up two "popular/capable" players and let them duke it out, which would position himself better. He certainly seems to HATE Jen and Kail, though. He might just go with that, too... he seems the type that might be playing not so much to win but to just enjoy his environment while he's there. Clearly, he'd be much happier a fellow if he got rid of either of those two .

I can't wait to see what they "do" for his HoH room. That could be most interesting, don't you think ? Bikers? Strippers? I can't imagine...

Yes, it is going to be very interesting tonight. I agree with you Gatsby that he should not nominate jen as everyone wants her out. He is probably going to nominate Jen and Kail but you never know, strange things can happen in this game.

By the way, who is everyone for at this point? For me, right now, I am for Jameka but that could change as the game goes on.

Yes, Dick did nominate Kail and Jen for eviction. For a second, I thought that he was going to nominate Nick because he made Daniele get so upset. I am pleased with what Dick did and hope that the nominations will stay the same and Jen will be voted out.

Also, I do not really like Kail at all becuase she is prejudice towards homosexual people. She is very closed minded and deciving.

Right now, I am rooting for Daniele. I think that she is just a good person that has been through a lot and she has a good attitude and is funny. I am so happy that she is off slop because she needs to gain some weight because she is fading away. I just think that she should give her father another chance because he has her heart is his mind.

I also like the houseguests such as Amber, Dustin, Jameka and Dick. I do not really like any people in the four alliance and I do not like Jen because I feel that she is fake and is mean to basically everybody.

I enjoyed watching the food competition and thought that it was the best one yet. Also, I am looking forward to Tuesday's show and seeing the veto competition.

I tend to agree with you quizking. I would love to see Danielle win. It seems like she has been through a hard time as you said and it seems like she is a very trustworthy and genuine person. I used to say that she will never make it through the game because she is going to loose a lot of weight but with her off the slop, this will help her.

I, also, don't like the shaky alliance of 4 and Jen. Jen is not an honest person. If Danielle don't win, I hope Dick wins because he will help Danielle with this money. Alss, Dick seems to be honest. He might not approach things well but he calls a spade a spade.

Who do you think will be voted out if those two women are still on the block?
Who do you want to win HOH next week?
Do you think Eric will get in trouble this week as he is asked to trash someone's room?
