Ok, admit it. There is a tv or movie actor/actress that you've had a thing for since you were knee-high to a grasshopper. That silly crush just won't go away! Who do you still go ga-ga over?

For me it's got to be Kurt Russell, hands down. I first remember seeing him in "The Barefoot Executive" (although I know I must have seen him before that since he appeared on Lost In Space and Gilligan's Island, which I would not have missed as a kid ). I've wanted to marry him ever since. I am gratified that he continues to be a hottie.
I used to do theatre with Dennis Dun, who starred with him in "Big Trouble in Little China", and although Dennis is a very cool guy in his own right, knowing Kurt put him on my coolest-of-cool list.

I also have always had a bit of a girl-crush on Goldie Hawn, so that's kind of nice- if I can't have him, I'm glad she got him!

I feel like such a copycat, but Kurt Russell has always been my best crush! He looks absolutely divine in all his movies, but my favorite has to be Escape from New York. Mmmmmm, Snake Plissken.

I've also had a crush on Wayne Newton and this past Christmas, I went to Las Vegas and actually saw him at Harrahs. My husband got us tickets right up front and I think I grinned like an idiot the whole show . Wayne apparently was suffering from laryngitis or something related and he didn't sound right during his songs, but I didn't care!

My mom told me that when I was little I had a huge crush on Remington Steele ( Pierce Brosnan). I had to watch it whenever it was on! And ditto for Macgyver! lol. Now I would have to say my older man crush would be on the actor James Purefoy...Hes so hot! I loved him in Vanity Fair....I watch it atleast once a week. My girl-crush hands down is Angelina Jolie!

Well, being in my mid-30s and male, I would have to say Alyssa Milano. Ever since I was back in middle school and Who's the Boss was on TV. After that it would have to be Meg Ryan.

I've never been able to get over Michael Biehn especially the way he looked in the movies The Abyss,Terminator, Navy SEALs and The Rock.

All of mine have died out and turned into those, "What was I thinking," sort of things. Like, I was in love with Corey Haim....What? Although I admit, I have loved Johnny Depp forever, but then again, he is special.

I would have to say that my television crush would have been Melissa Joan Hart from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

To add to my list, though I'm not quite knee high to a grasshopper anymore, is David Tennant. He is just...cheeky I suppose.

You people have no idea of what a real crush is! I had my bedroom completely covered in pictures of James Dean, my school desk lid, my exercise books, everything. I bought every magazine he was pictured in, and went to see his movies every single day (sometimes 2 or 3 times) during the time it was showing in my home town of Gloucester, even travelling to the next town to see them again. (don't know when I got to school).
Marlon Brando was the next one. I saw 'On the Waterfront' something like 38 times, and can still quote chunks of it. How sick? I still maintain that he was the best American actor who ever lived.
(If you are asking, the best English actor remains Olivier, but I didn't have a crush, just a huge admiration for his work, his versatility.I could never stand Burton, far too spotty.)
Nowadays? Well, I must admit Mr Clooney sends me a bit... and Paul Newman too.
Edited to say I am sorry I didn't actually answer the original question, but I can be forgiven, I hope , in that both my 'enormous crushes ' are now dead.

I don't know about that, Ren. Back in 1968, I was all of eleven years old and pining over Will Millar of the Irish Rovers. I even somehow persuaded my mother to let me stay home from school and watch them whenever they were on Mike Douglas , Merv Griffin or Dick Cavett [American talk shows] The crowning glory came for me when on top of answering my fan letters, the group sent me a stuffed koala from their tour of down under. I absolutely thought I had passed on and landed in Irish folk heaven. True, Will was the main focus of my obsession, but I thought the other guys were almost as wonderful. But that red curly hair...glorioski!

It would have to be William Shatner, the original Cap'n James T. Kirk of the Starship enterprise. I wanted to be there in one of those fade-out scenes.. but considering my age at the time he'd get arrested for it LOL .

I like your taste Ren, George Clooney is quite a dish, and Lioness, I'd also love to meet David Tennant. After you;)

I have never had a massive crush on someone famous. My logic was 'I'm never going to meet them, and they wont even care if I do, so I wont bother becoming obsessed'

Closest I got to being obsessed (non-celebrity mind you) was writing a little heart above my crush's name in year 6.

Ren, I was a teenager in the 80's and I had a poster of James Dean in my room. He was just so cool. I also had pictures of Elvis on my wall. My friends thought I was crazy having all these dead guys on my wall, but they used to humour me by buying me Elvis and James Dean Birthday cards. Most of the girls were into Richard Gere and Mel Gibson back then.

The living people I admired back then were Michael J Fox and Kirk Cameron from 'Growing Pains' I really liked the funny guys and still do.

A follow up to my post.. I went to work at a large busy housing estate today, and was wandering around a shopping mall (as you do). I managed to pick up DVD's of the following:
Marlon Brando- On the Waterfront
" " - A Streetcar Named Desire
James Dean - Rebel Without a Cause
Lawrence Olivier-Hamlet
" " - Henry V
and Great Expectations -John Mills
each costing 19 HK$ Just over 2 US$ and just over 2 pounds.
You will not be hearing from me for a while...

When I was 6 I had a massive crush on Donny Osmond, Donny and Marie was the first album I bought with my own money, and the first concert I went to. Funny, since I'm a 'headbanger' now. My friends tease me about Donny and Marie all the time.

I remember "Happy Days", and how cute "Chachi" Arcola was. Years ago, I used to have a crush on Scott Baio, who played the Fonz's cousin; I also loved the Dukes of Hazzard, and fell for John
Schneider's dreamy eyes.

I had a Michael J. Fox poster on my wall as a kid. And I still think he's a hottie, as much because he's aged well as because he's just an amazing person. I've also had a thing for Johnny Depp since long before it was really cool. Patrick Swayze was another, I totally fell for him in Dirty Dancing, and getting to meet him as a teenager was like a little piece of adolescent heaven. And this is a good one for someone my age... I have always loved Errol Flynn, who died when my MOM was 4 years old. And Harrison Ford and Sean Connery go without saying, I think.

When I was little I loved Clint Eastwood. I have always loved him. My parents were the ones who introduced me to him. I was born in the late 70's, and the first movie I ever saw him in was "A Fist Full of Dollars." And I also loved Tom Selleck. What a great mustache. And I also had a crush on John Schneider.

Sean Connery leaves me cold, always did. Roger Moore was the only one who was James Bond to me, at least he spoke and looked like him.
I went back to the same DVD shop and got 5 more real old classics today. At the top of the pile is James Dean's East of Eden. Oh yum.

When I was younger I used to adore Sean Bean. I was always glued to the television when 'Sharpe' came on I have always liked Johnny Depp as well. I've never been much of a Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise fan

My man-crush at the moment is Wentworth Miller from 'Prison Break' and I also have a lady-crush on Angelina Jolie

Ok.. maybe i've said too much lol.. time to go

I bet nobody remembers the Merseybeats! Had a crush on all of them. Pictures stuck on every surface in bedroom, detention in RE for having pics inside exercise book.
Wishing and hoping.....
