I like her a lot -- fast reads, usually surprises me with "whodunit", so it makes me really sad to say that I hated her last one. I can't remember title, but it's about a woman who serves time in prison for killing her husband, but has amnesia about what really happened the night he died. I thought the characters were one-dimensional, and the "heroine" was such a pill that I was rooting for the real killer to get away with it! Heroine's name is Molly Carpenter, but for the life of me, I can't remember title.
I met Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter Carol 2 years ago when they were on a joint book tour; they were charming and down-to-earth. I was so pleased that someone whose work I admire was so nice in person.
