I got:

77% scored higher (more nerdy),
1% scored the same, and
22% scored lower (less nerdy).

Your nerdiness is:

Not nerdy, but definitely not hip.

There weren't enough "don't know" answers, otherwise I might have done better!

My score:

Not nerdy, but definitely not hip.

I thought for sure that I would be a member of the Nerdhood. Alas! I'll have to settle for the Hiphood wanna be's. And apparently I'll have a lot of company since everyone on this page is 'NNBDNH'.

The first one, I think, was James Clerk Maxwell.

This is what I got..

25% scored higher (more nerdy),
1% scored the same, and
74% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Mid-Level Nerd. Wow, it takes a lot of hard nerdy practice to reach this level!

Oops I'm not really nerdy.. am I?!! I think it's because I knew all the Science questions! (That's my excuse, anyway )

The first one was, indeed, James Clerk Maxwell, and the second one was definitely Sir Isaac Newton. And can I also say... they spelled Kepler's name wrong. It's Johannes, not Johann.

Maybe it was getting Maxwell right that qualifies me as "somewhat nerdy." I really didn't know what he looked like: I got there by a process of elimination - the hair was too tidy for Einstein, the clothes were too modern for Newton, and so on.

I am officially a mid-level nerd.

22% scored higher than I did
2% scored the same as I did
76% scored lower than I did.

I've always known that I've been a bit of a nerd - I've made my peace with it.

I'm not bothered by it, I see it as a matter of perspective. My in-laws think I'm the quintessential nerd, which is fine with me. I think they're ignorant bogans.

In the words of Ned Kelly - "Such is Life".

Ahh, the ignorant bogans, I know FAR too many of them. They all think I am a massive nerd but it's better than being a complete idiot like them.

I'm hearing you. I married one - as they would say D'Oh!

I refer to my husband as "Cubby" - he thinks it's because I think he's as cute as the former Mouseketeer of the same name (he came up with the meaning himself, poor lamb).

What he is blissfully unaware of, CUB is short for Cashed-Up Bogan, or, in plain English, Idiots With Money.

I started calling him this after we bought our new house, moved in, and I declared that the walls were a bit bare. I suggested we go shopping and buy a picture to hang on the wall.

While I'm at work the next day, he buys me a present. Gift wrapped an' all!

I open my gift to discover a picture of dogs playing poker. He makes that statement that he thinks we should have "art" on the walls (I swear it came out with the inverted commas and all - it was the first time I ever heard someone speak in italics).

I thought he was kidding. One glance at his face told me the truth. He'd bought the matching one to it - the one where the dogs are playing pool. I can hide being overwhelmed, but I never knew how well I was able to hide being underwhelmed until that exact moment.

I love my cubby!

"High-Level Nerd. You are definitely MIT material, apply now!!!."

I swear I am not as nerdy as the test makes me sound! I'm just an engineer! Or maybe that proves their point...

29% are more nerdy
2% are the same
and 69% are less nerdy

So I am a low ranking nerd.

I thought I was pretty nerdy because I love to read, even nonfiction, and I watch the Discovery, Science, and History International channels. And I hate MTV.

Interestingly according to those tests, nerdiness is not inversely proportional to 'cool'. I came out 86% nerdy as did husband to my amazement because I was sure he'd be at least 95% and I don't mean that negatively. He's truly king in that department. I then took the 'cool' vs 'loser' test and came out way over on the cool end. ::shrugs:: hey that's what it said. The flaw in these tests are not so much what they ask but what they don't ask.

Well, I am in exactly the same level of nerdiness! I will NOT tell my sons because I already know what they will say while they laugh quite loudly and point at me.
