Number the Stars by Lois Lowry is more for intermediate readers, but it's a fantastic book. Likewise Night by Elie Wiesel, though that one is far more depressing. To Kill a Mockingbird holds up well - it's not just for school, folks.

For younger teens I'd really reccomend anything by Sally Odgers an Australian author. I really enjoyed her novel "Candleiron". She primarily Fantasy. I think she also happens to be a member here at funtriva but I could be wrong.

You are correct. Sally is a FunTrivia member. You can play her quizzes here too, under the name of sallyo.

I want to thank everyone who'se recommened the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyers. I can't remember who it was. I read the first book in a little over 24 hours. I loved it so much I couldn't put it down.
