Gatsby722 Pure Diamond Registered: Fri May 18 2001 Posts: 123698 Loc: Canton Ohio USA	I think I'm slightly miffed that "Boston Legal" got some key nominations (even though it is a decent show) and that "Friday Night Lights" didn't (it's better than decent). As usual, it seems that all a veteran actor has to do is show up on TV and they'll get nominated for it - and that tends to fire me up. Not necesarily because they did a horrible job but more that a much lesser known actor in the same project with a bigger part doing as well or better in their role(s) gets overlooked. Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn got nominated in the "Outstanding supporting actor in a drama series" category. I agree with you Gatsby, "Friday Night Lights" is a very good show. Too bad it wasn't nominated. Maybe next year! I'm surprised "Lost" didn't get a best drama series nomination... It's a unique show, with superior actors in even the smallest roles (Mary Kay Place, Bruce Dern), and not one nomination that I could see. At least "Entourage" has gotten some attention.

Not that Mariska from SVU or Edie from The Sopranos aren't great but I'm really hoping that Kyra wins this year. Also... I'm glad that James Gandolfini got nom too... I'm hoping he wins also. And I want The Sopranos to win best drama. Actually aside from Kyra winning best actress I hope that The Sopranos clean up this year... they deserve it.
