I tend to change my signature quite often and I've had the last one for a month .

Today I put up a new one:

My signature is Nothing matters half so much as you think it does.

It was a beautifully framed message my grandfather had on his wall when I was very young.

The fact that he was a dentist and the wall was in his dental surgery never fails to amuse me. He was an extremely dour Scotsman and the irony suited him perfectly

My signature is "There's no point in living if you can't feel alive", which is a quote from a Bond film. From a bad guy, in fact

My current signature is "The capacity to care is what gives life its most deepest significance" - Pablo Casals, as I feel that people need to do more to help one another. I also thought that I should tell you that if you happen to enjoy reading quotes about various topics, then it is worth visiting: "http://www.quoteland.com/", which has innumerable quotes on a fantastic number of topics.

I have never actually used this quote as a signature, but I do use it an awful lot and I think that everybody should take not of this brilliant "Star Wars" quote: "Who's the more foolish, the fool, or the fool who follows him?" - "Obi-Wan Kenobi", during "Star Wars Episode IV - A new Hope". I always think that copying those who do wrong is a terrible evil, as many of us will be heavily influenced by others, so it is important to examine their actions and ensure that they are right.

Mine is from a plaque my cousin got me for Christmas. It perfectly explains some of my eccentricities.

My current signature is:

"If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands." - Douglas Adams

I stumbled across it while playing a quote thread in the chain games section, and I found it hilarious... as a research engineer, I think it conveys the scientific skepticism inherent in my work - and at the same time pokes fun at how seriously we all take ourselves sometimes!

Triviadude, don't forget to post in into your post. If you change it at anytime, we won't be able to see it.

Mine currently is:

One day in the distant future, when a future paleontologist investigates our era, they will deduce that our planet was inhabited by cars, either that or tyres.

Mine currently is "Six. I got six at the sun stare."

This is the punchline to Brian Regan's hilarious story about how when as children he and his older brothers would be sent out to the front yard by their parents to play. He told of how anything could be a toy in those days, including the sun.

His older brothers would tell him "Okay Brian, the record is five, ready? GO!!" and there would be little Brian with eyes wide open, staring at the sun and counting "1,2,3,4,5...." Once in a while his parents would catch on to what his brothers were up to and would end up telling Brian not to do that, as it's not a useful activity.
