This final chapter in the last Harry Potter book showed how the relationships between Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Ginny evolved. On the website, I have heard many mixed feelings about the epilogue. Personally, I loved it because it left nothing else to be desired. What is your opinion?

I think the epilogue, as well as finishing off a few loose ends, was written to reassure the kids who read it that all was well. It's the "Happy Ever After" bit. A lot of younger readers will have been upset by the various deaths and stuff and knowing that Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione are fine and happy will be comforting for them.

For me the book would have just as good with out the epilogue. I personally did not like it. I thought the book ended fine. Harry won, and as Porky Pig says, "That's all folks".
