Has anyone else read this? It's by Terry Kay.
He brings up some interesting thoughts on the moral issues of society.

Okay. It's about a quiet shy boy, just out of high school who works as a mailboy for a large bank. He gets kidnapped, and the kidnappers demand ten million in ransom from the bank. The bank refuses to pay. The big question that results is, would they have paid if it was the president of the bank? Is one life worth more than another?
The story covers the search for the kidnappers, what Aaron (the kidnapped boy)is feeling and going through, the motivation and some side issues of the kidnappers, the response of the public, and more. It's sort of an expanded police drama or thriller. It's one of the better books I have read recently.
