Popular British actor Mike Reid died yesterday, of a heart attack at the age of 67, see Mike Reid
His recent popularity has been appearing in the TV soap 'Eastenders', where his gravel voice and gritty character fitted well with his part.
Not so well known, is his considerable experience over many years and in many major films as a stuntman.
Personally I enjoyed him most as a stand up comic, which was his original role in show business.

I watched him for years as Frank Butcher, and also liked him as a comic. 67 is no age. Such a shame as he had recently received a clean bill of health from his doctor, too.
