Is it just me or did Wile E. Coyote get a bad rap? Lots of people look at him as some sort of buffoon. But, I think he was a wonderful character. He never gave up on catching the roadrunner. He was always coming up with new ideas, and trying all kinds of different techniques to reach his goal. I had a t-shirt that I had cross-stitched that had him on the front, and underneath it said "Genius?". Well I left off the ? and put an !. I think he was a misunderstood genius. What do you guys think?

I'm going to agree

The Road Runner wasn't clever ... he was just lucky!

I always felt sorry for Coyote. It just seemed so unfair that he was never able to succeed. You're right he never gave up and was always thinking up new schemes while that darn roadrunner just get making that irritating sound and running down the road.

He was diligent and he did come up with some pretty complicated plans to capture roadrunner. Unfortunately for him, they usually backfired. He did catch him once, but to his dismay, roadrunner was to big. He only was able to hold on to his leg since roadrunner was so much bigger than him. He was a very smart coyote even though things didn't quite work out for him.

I have always loved him and there are days when my friends and I are comparing ours and we will say "It was definitely a Wile E.Coyote day!!". In other words, tried real hard and nothing seemed to go right. We are in the age group of those who grew up watching him.

So is it true that the 'E' in Wile 'E' Coyote stood Ethelbert?

If he saved all the money he spent at ACME he could have feasted at Kentucky Fried Roadrunner.
