Anybody a fan of Watership Down? I've read it four or five times. I think its one of the best stories I've ever read. Just got my book club to read it for this months meeting. Can't wait to hear if they love it like I do.
Hazel, Fiver, Bigwig, Holly, Strawberry, El-Ahrairah, are like familiar friends, I forget they are rabbits!

I read it years ago, it is a great book. I saw the movie for the first time a month or so ago. It brought back memories.

Yeah there was! I never read it tho and I really should go get it! I re-read the original every few years. I can't wait until my daughters are old enough to read it. They're gonna LOVE it. It one of the best ever IMHO. If I read the sequel I'll post here how it was.

Duncton Wood was a sequel, by William Horwood. I too thought that Watership Down was an excellent book. I read it in 1974. Dunction Wood was published in 1980 by McGraw-Hill.
