I got hooked on the books of Barbara Paul a few years ago and thought I'd steer you guys over to them! She writes mainly mystery or sci-fi books. I haven't read her sci-fi, but her mysteries are great 'bath tub books' as my friend calls them because they're easy to read, but hard to figure out!
