I've been reading the forum for a while now, and have noticed that no one talks about Bob Seger. Are there any fans here? If you're a fan, what's your favorite Seger memory?

Roll Me Away is one of my all time favourites, probably the best of his stuff [ for me, anyway] - followed by Against the Wind.

Glad to see that there's another fan here. My all time favorite is Turn the Page.

Had the great fortune of seeing him a couple of times in Detroit.
Favs would be, Her Strut, Shame on the Moon, The Fire Inside, and Marylou. Great musician and a treat to see live.

I had the great fortune of seeing him in Lexington KY in March of this year. It was almost a religious experience.

I like his music, but I really like the fact that back when 8-tracks were on the way out, Seger continued producing his albums on 8-Track and cassette tape because he had fans that were too poor to upgrade. I thought that was cool.

I like Bob Seger very much! I grew up listening to his music. He has some really good songs. Here are a few of my favorite Seger tunes:

I do love Bob Seger...he looked almost exactly like my dad does when he was younger...it's kind of weird. I really love the song "You'll Accompany Me"...it's probably my favorite.

I grew up listening to Seger...my dad is a huge fan. We used to have "music night" at least once a week listening to records (the vinyl ones).

My favorite song has to be "American Storm".

I never really was crazy bout Bob Seger...I guess I liked "Night Moves" the best. My wife actually met him when she was a child. Her mother worked at a truck stop as a waitress and she would tag along. Well , one night Bob and his band stopped in off the road for a burger or something!

I LOVE Bob Seger....and I cant pick just one!! Nope, I can't not even if I tried.
His music is motivating, inspirational and addictive! It makes my blood pump!

I also grew up listening to him, such a great band and performer and I had the pleasure of seeing him in Pittsburgh years and years ago and sat in the third row! Talk about good seats! The entire set was great but he never sang my favorite tune - "Still the Same". Now that I think of it anytime I hear the live version of "Ramblin' Man/Beautiful Loser" I crank it up and sing along, so I guess that would make "Still the Same" my second (or would that be the third?) favorite song.

My favorite Bob seger Songs are "Like A Rock" and "Give Me That Old Time Rock & Roll".
