Hi everyone! My name is Nikki and I just really wanna have someone to talk to about Buffy the Vampire Slayer because I know that there are people out there who share my love for the show created by the infamous Joss Whedon and I would really like to share my opinions, likes, dislikes and random thoughts and discoveries about the show. So, if you are a true Buffy fan, then please talk to me. And please, if you have only watched Buffy a few times, don't reply to this. This blog is for experienced Buffy fans only. Thank you!

It's been a while since we've watched it but we are true fans of the show as we own every season on DVD and have had BUFFY Marathons in our home. I'll start the the discussion by asking what is anyone's favorite season and why? Ours is Season Six because Willow turned bad. It wasn't one of SMGs favorite seasons as she wasn't in the spotlight as much, but we love it.

I'm a huge Buffy fan. I love everything Joss does.

My favorite season is probably the second season. Or maybe the last season. I love them all! They all have great episodes. Season two is great because they're still pretty young and innocent, and Angelus is such a badass. :P And for season 7 I just love the feel of it. And the First is probably one of the best villains.

Has anyone been reading season 8? What are your thoughts?

Well, I haven't been reading Season 8, so no thoughts there, but I would have to agree with you. It is so hard to pick a favorite season because all of the seasons were just so great! I have my reasons for loving each and every season.

So who is everyone's favorite character?

I think Buffy, Spike and Giles are my favorite. Alone, each of them have a very interesting life, or past. And together they all have the best chemistry - during serious times or funny ones.

My favorite character has to be Buffy, definately because I love her general character. The way that she takes charge and really uses her head is very fascinating and she has all the qualitites of a true leader. Plus, I love her lines which I guess I can give the credit to Joss, but Sarah Michelle Gellar in general is just great.

Spike, without a doubt. His character's complexities were so varied; from the beginning when he was just stone-cold killer with a soft spot for daytime soaps, his inability to kill when implanted with the chip (how sweet he was with Willow!), poker with kittens, and of course his love for Buffy. He loyalty to Drusilla, his impatience with Harmony and protectiveness for Dawn, his banter with Xander - oh, I could go on and on...

Ok, so to have some new things to talk about, what are some of everyone's favorite episodes? I'll start by saying, everyone that I have spoken to so far has had something against the episdoe Killed By Death, and I just wanna know why, because in my opinion, it's one of the best! Also, I like Beer Bad because it was funny and all of the episodes in season six. The Wish is also another great episode, I love the way Buffy acts, she's so heartless! Intervention is definately a great one. I love how Sarah Michelle Gellar did the BuffyBot. Sooooo amazing! I also like Same Time, Same Place, Gnarl is a great character. I love how he has the ability to make me laugh and scare me at the same time. I could go on forever and ever about the episodes that I love and why I love them, but I wanna hear some feedback from everyone else.

I think Once More, With Feeling is my all time favorite, but I love Conversations with Dead People. Just the way it was set up and played out. Plus the song throughout the episode is awesome!

Once More, With Feeling was an exceptionally well done episode! I loved it! I was actually surprised at how well the actors could sing. What little dancing was done was also great! I have the soundtrack and I listen to it everyday! What was everyone's favorite song from Once More, With Feeling. Mine is a tie between Something to Sing About and Walk Throught the Fire.

My favorite song is Walk Through the Fire, but I love Rest in Peace and Standing because James Marsters and Tony Head have awesome voices!

I agree that James and Tony Head have awesome voices. I think I heard that they were actually in bands when they were younger when I was watching special features, but I might be wrong. I think James is actually still in his band, Ghost of the Robots, I think that's what it was called. If I made a mistake, somebody please correct me! I think Joss may have said it.

Of course Once More With Feeling is my all time favorite. But by the seasons, season 1- The Puppet Show season 2- School Hard season 3- Graduation Day pt 1 (well, pretty much any episode that has Faith and Buffy fighting) season 4- Hush season 5- Fool for Love season 6- Once more with feeling season 7- tie between Lies My Parents Told Me and Touched.

My favorite character is of course Spike, but I also have a soft spot for Faith.

Yeah James was lead singer in Ghost of the Robot, but I'm pretty sure they broke up or ended or something, and now he might be going solo, but I think his focus is on acting.

My daughter is a HUGE Buffy fan, and when I was unemployed for a few months, I watched all of seasons 1, 2, 4, 6 and 7 on her dvds.

I especially liked Graduation Day, Becoming, Hush, The Body and Once More With Feeling.

Well, I think that Season 4's best episdoe was Beer Bad because i just loved the way Sarah acted like the cavewoman. She rocked. Well, in everyone elses defense, I love Sarah in everything that she does, so of course I'm going to love the way she acted that out. Also, another episode that keeps coming up, Hush, I thought it was funny when everyone woke up and couldn't talk, but I laughed extra hard when Xander acted upon his first instinct and called Buffy, and she answered and then they remembered that they couldn't talk, so really what was the point of calling her. And why did Xander blame Spike. I wonder if those two could ever be friends. Or, if they did become friends, would it ruin the funny context between the two. I think they're better enemies, but it would be funny to see an episode where they are best friends, just to see how it would play out.

I liked Hush, even though it was quite a creepy episode.

And even though I didn't enjoy the subject matter the ep where Joyce died got to me. Anya was especially good, asking all the questions she did. She never seemed to experience a sense of loss before.

And the eps with the "Trinity" were quite funny, especially the one when Buffy became invisible.

Oh, and the one where Johnathan was a superstar.

Sorry for not knowing the ep names, I'm too lazy to open my DVD cases!

I have to agree, the episode where Buffy turned invisible was so funny! I had to watch it at least 10 times in like a week because it was just so funny. I'm watching seasons one through seven all in a row, so I'm on season 4 now and I'm almost on Hush. The Gentleman were prolly one of the creepiest looking villains on the show, well, Adam was pretty cringe worthy too, but he was a major viallin, and I was talking about little villain-types that have only been in one or two episodes. I'd have to say Andrew is my favorite of the "Trinity", but Jonathan comes in at a close second. I didn't really like Warren's character, because he's a murderer, but I really didn't like it when he died, even though he probably deserved it, in theory. Who's everyone elses favorite of the Trio?

Ok, this is really off topic, but it is really bothering me. I was wondering if any of you could explain to me how to get a picture by my name like all of you have because I have this awesome picture and I would love to put it on here, but i don't know how. If someone could please help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm...let's see, what else can we talk about? Let's talk about...what funny things we saw on the episodes. Like, for example, there was a blooper in Villains where the trees are moving out of the way in the forest so that Willow can walk by, and you can see one of the strings that's pulling the tre4e out of the way I just thoght that was funny.

Ok, not a big hit. How about talking about all of the scenes in the episodes that have made or still make you cry. I have a long list, so I'll save mine.
