I`ve been following the news stories regarding the miners trapped in the mine collapse in Utah from day one and am finding myself just wishing that they would hurry up and be rescued. Not so logical but I get that way when things take time. I recall feeling the same way about Stuart Diver and the trapped Australian miners in Tasmania .

The news doesn`t seem to be mostly good about these latest trapped blokes but I hope they are found alive and well soon.

Well the news is getting worse. Three rescuers have died. And one of them was even a roof control specialist.

Rescuers

I don't see there being much hope left for the miners originally lost. Even with oxygen, how long can they survive without water?

It is looking very bleak, isn't it? Newspapers here are running stories on other mining incidents where the men were never recovered. Now that the rescue has been suspended it seems that this one might go the same way. A terrible shame...keep the families in your prayers.
