I am so happy that I stumbled across this. I lost my Bloodhound Harvey a couple of weeks ago to vet negligence. I miss him sooooo much. I hope that my votes help Jenny save a lot of doggies!

trevor...you can only vote once a day apparently. There isn't anything on the website that says otherwise, but we got in a bit of trouble for voting crazy amounts.

One thing the results graph does not tell us is the number of votes. That short 1/2 inch that Jenny is ahead could just be a small number of votes! All the more reason to vote every day.

Today I went to a chain pet store to find a cat scratcher and they had adoption day. So many wonderful doggies! There was even one with a damaged rear leg that they were collecting funds for so he or she could have an operation.

I'm afraid the only thing I can do for doggies is to give them "a little lovin'" at the pet store as I am allergic to dogs and not cats! Go figure.

Hopefully Jenny Cole will find a bit of time between rescuing animals to pop in here and say hi when this is all over. It would be nice to "put a person" with the name.

I'm in for the day's vote and agree with Jar that it would be wonderful if Jenny could drop by and let us know a bit about her. After all, a friend of Ren's has become a "friend" of our's too because of this.

Hello All

Ren gave me the link to this site so I could come and thank you all personally. I have been amazed and humbled at the support I have been getting from people I have never met. When I entered this competition, I never for the life of me thought I stood a chance, now with just over a day to go I am in 1st place. The world is a smaller place thanks to the internet, and this week I have gained friends from all over the world. This looks like a very interesting site so I am sure you will be seeing more of me here.

In the UK stray dogs get taken to pounds where they are given 7 days to be claimed, after that time if they can not find a rescue place, they are put to sleep. I do a lot of transporting of these dogs, some have to travel hundreds of miles to find a safe rescue kennel. Unfortunately the general public are not fully aware of the plight of rescue dogs, so my vision for this customised campervan is to go out there and get the message across. As well as being equiped to carry dogs safely, it will also be like a mobile advert.

Thank you again for every vote, I will let you know the outcome as soon as I know. Hopefully IF I do win I will post pics too.

Jenny

I hope they are not serious about this rule...

Each voter may only cast one vote per day per participant for the duration of the competition. Multiple votes from the same user for the same participant will not be counted. In this event the participant may be liable to disqualification from the competition.

I will be on tenderhooks until the results come out.

We still have 24 hours to go on this one, so please all vote for me one last time. I'll be back in this time tomorrow either cheering my head off or crying into my pillow.

Thanks everyone I really appreciate it:)

All right , everyone, it says 'closed' at the Kickers website so I guess that's it. If it looks as if you can still vote, then you need to refresh the page. It is closed for sure. We have to wait for news now.
