Is anyone familiar with the term bergadot and how it is associated with the symbol called a bullet in typewritten documents? I am looking for the origin of the term and cannot find it listed in any dictionary or on the net.

I used Google and came up with a post from these forums, apart from that Google seems to think we really want bergamot.

Yes, I saw the forums post, too. Also the reference to bergamot...The person originally asking, is no longer on this site. It had something to do with 'keyboard functions'. I asked on the Homepage, and so far nothing. Maybe it isn't a word...
