What trivia books do you own and which ones would you highly recommend? I would also like to find out if anyone has the book 'Presidential Trivia'?

I like the Oxford Puzzle Solver.It's simple and concise. Actually, I'm on the lookout for worthwhile trivia books myself, and would appreciate any recommendations.Especially one on literature and a directory of movies/entertainment.

Hi JoJo: I have "The Complete Unabriged Super Trivia Encyclopedia" by Fred L. Worth; "The Quintessential Quiz
Book" by Norman G. Hickman; "The Bathroom Trivia Book";
"The Bathroom Sports Quiz Book" I was able to pick these
books at the Salvation Army Thrift store. They sell books at
3/$1.00.

Trivia ! Trivia ! Trivia ! I'm trivia mad I is.
I have to be. I play in a Pub Quiz League, I do. I've got quite a few trivia books in my 1,000 plus book collection. Trivia books I have are...

Uncle John's Great Big Bathroom Reader

The Only Book - A Compendium of One-of-a-Kind Facts

The Straight Dope

and many more....

Sometimes I like to memorize long lists of ephemera like all the winners of The FA Cup or all the winners of the Oscars..Blah Blah Blah...

It's quite sad really..it's the only thing I excel at...

I've re-applied for the Channel 4 show 'Fifteen to One'.
( Those in the US probably won't know of this TV programme ).
I was on it in February 1997 and got through to the final but blundered on a few quesions and got knocked out. My mouth wasn't in proper communication with my brain. I've also applied for 'The Weakest Link', but haven't heard an answer from them as yet. I have continuously phoned up for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire ? but as of yet had no luck in getting a phone call back. Maybe one day ! How many millionaire winners have you had now in the US ? And I've also heard that in the US for every day no-one wins the Jackpot $10,000 is added to it. Is that true ?

I've heard of most of the books mentioned. I, myself, have a ton of trivia books of all sorts. Can't decide which one I like best though. I believe any encyclopedia, dictionary, etc. can be a source of a lot of trivia. gammab
