hey mates jus laid my hands on this supposedly wonderful book Worlds In Collision by Immanuel Velikovsky...
hmmm......needed ur valued comments on thid book whoever has read it....

it seems similar to stephen hawking's breif history of time....well wud be eagerly awaiting ur comments on the book

yes- we have read it....the book is relegatd as Pseudo science- but the funny thing is that old Einstein had a copy on his desk at Princeton.... catastrophism is an interesting theory...and perhaps in the future Velikovsky may be vindicated...

thanx...profchallenger1, for the help that u provided. the point being that i am finding insurmountable difficulties in grasping the views presented in the book, well i am highly impressed by ur mention about the venerated einstein.....probably, now i'll i will read the book with much more respect and faith, thanx
